The last tune is called Down South and was written by William Henry Myddleton (real name Arnold Safroni (also composed Imperial Echoes March)) about 1900.
Must have been a treat to see them and Morecambe and Wise on the same bill. Ernie Wise probably came out with a sax and gave a line-o-jive about being a world renowned virtuoso...managing not to play note one amidst all the "business." The cartoon of the Tom Katz isn't any too acceptable in our day, but it does point to vaudeville tradition - the bass sax was always played by the smallest person in the group!
