She didn’t talked about who is that women, but at the end of the video Lee Hi is wearing the same dress with the woman at the beginning! So I think it means that she is giving past herself a consolation. This is crazyyyyy... ❤️

FYI: Lee Hi was really young when she signed with YG, she was discovered in KPOPSTAR Season 1 back in Dec 2011. She was in the same batch as WINNER’s Hoony (who placed 4th overall) and was in the top 2 with Park Jimin aka Jamie (JYP artists and was formerly in 15&, but is now a solo artist). Jamie won KPOPSTAR season 1, while Lee Hi and WINNER’s Hoony decided to sign with YG after the show ended. Lee Hi was only 16/17 years old at that time and she debuted in Oct 2012. It must have been hard for her at that time because she was considered the youngest YG artist at that time and was a solo artist. She didn’t have anyone her age to talk to or make friends with and she was just this shy awkward girl with an amazing voice and a bit of sass when she performs. Of course BIG BANG and 2NE1 really looked out for Lee Hi. Lee Hi basically was 2NE1’s baby and they really just kept checking in on her all the time. Thankfully, AKMU and Yedam came in from KPOPSTAR season 2 and they’re also young. So Lee Hi got friends around her age and younger. Mind you this is 2012...so WINNER, IKON, and BP we’re still considered YG trainees not YG artists. Anyways, Lee Hi got really close to AKMU and they’re still super supportive of each other even when Lee Hi left YG. Anyways, through her time being in YG..Lee Hi developed really bad anxiety as well as depression. She always felt uncertain about her future and basically YG’s empty and broken promises. She has the music content to release more albums, but there was always a reason for delays. At that time HIGHGRND, which was another subsidiary label that EPIK HIGH’s Tablo guided and helped Lee Hi get her 2016 comeback. I mean yes YG appointed Tablo to be in charge of Lee Hi’s comeback, but at least Tablo made it freaking happen and got Lee Hi 3 released tracks and MVs and like I said SEOULITE Part 1 and Part 2 released in one year and within a couple months from each other. We can’t say the same damn thing about YG. But then HIGHGRND closed down and EPIK HIGH decided to not to resign with YG like 2-3 years ago. That was a huge blow for Lee Hi because they were her support system and helped her released music. Now she’s stuck with that RAT who only let her release music every 3 years.. 😆 Anywayd, Lee Hi was gifted the title track song by the insanely talented and amazing beautiful soul JONGHYUN (SHINee). SHINee, especially Jonghyun have been Lee Hi fans ever since KPOPSTAR and their promotions coincided with Lee Hi’s promotions too. So they always celebrated or cheered her on during her encore performances. So for Jonghyun to work with Lee Hi, it was just one of his wishes that came true and vice versa. Lee Hi said when she heard this song, it really gave her a sense of comfort and all her anxieties and concerns went away for that moment. She instantly loved the song and thinks that many people who will listen to this song will also find some comfort. I can’t deny that they’re great with discovering TALENT and how they train or want their trainees and current YG artists to grow through producing and etc. BUT there were too many things that I’ve experienced as a fan of other YG artists that just makes me cynical/doubtful about anything YG announces cuz like I said.. I’ve been a fan of YG artists old and new since 2009. I’ve watched artists and trainees come and go too many times and YG artists themselves saying how hard it is to be in YG Entertainment. My only thing was just proper management and opportunity for YG artists, which the former YANG Bros couldn’t do for the longest time. I know the current YG CEO and Management Team/staff has to basically pick up the pieces and start over and they’re working hard. They’ve been doing pretty good with BLACKPINK and TREASURE so far with their promotions. We’re in a new YG era and I hope they really get better with managing their artists and so proper promotions. That’s all. Also, yes I already watched Lee Hi’s 1theK interview. Although, some of my questions were answered.. like I said... I’ve seen many YG artists come and go and had many different reasons and or had difficult times being in YG. It’s something that I can’t avoid as a fan you know? @@SaGeForReal fair enough, but go watch the video if you haven't, and rewatch the party people episode, I think they have genuine subtitles now 🙂 I can agree from a fans perspective, but honestly aside from a few bad (really really bad) cases I have never seen the label as particularly bad, they give the best income distribution, lots of breaks (aside from the MADE era, but that took its toll, and bb looked like normal idols severely overworked at the end), massive risks at the production level and allowance for trainees (only pre-debut but still, pre-debut in YG can be many many years). All in all aside from their disregard of the standoms they are one of the better labels, and don't take my word for it listen to former acts praising them, they know and can speak freely, with the current media hunt on YG I would even say they are incentivized to speak ill to gain support from big fandoms that support the hate (or ill intent) 🙂 Anyways thanks for a pleasant reply, English is not my first language and after rereading my comment, I would understand if you weren't nice 🙂

this is already one of my favorite songs this year. I love lee hi's music so much and I'm so glad she left YG and is now under AOMG, it seems like she is getting more promotion and freedom already. she has always been loved by the gp and she is still very young so I'm sure she'll grow even more in this new chapter of her career. you should check out more from her
I can't stop crying for an hour already... I watch an MV, my favourite reactions again and again and just start crying even more. Does it mean smth is not okay with my soul I feel so broken
If you have the time you should check out her vlogs where she asks artists who are close to her about who she should sign with upon ending her contract with AOMG. At this point she’d already received many offers and AOMG was the first to do so. Many anticipated she would join aomg and it really seems like the best company for her. She talks of how Pumkin (the ceo) was really invested and kept bothering her to join their company (jokingly) and how she wanted a company who would let her do the music she wants to do. She has many friends and supportive coworkers in the company and AOMG overall is known to be a really good company to sign to giving their artists a lot of artistic freedom and doing well to support them. After all Lee Hi has been through I think this will be good for her. AOMG’s already done so much more in promoting and supporting her than YG ever did. I’m so happy for her!
My theory is mixed up with other people's theories: Leehi's current self is having a hard time again and she is on the verge of giving up. So her innerself, who is trying to act as her own guardian angel, led her back to the memories of her younger self. In those memories, her younger self happened to survive a self destruct attempt, after being guided and reassured by the same innerself-guardian angel. The process of reassuring oneself is very exhausting, as a representation of that exhaustion you'll see angel leehi floating in the pool looking tired. That scene was after she saved her younger self from drowning. The scene in the playground shows that the innerself won that time and they are celebrating their victory. Then back to her current/older self, she realized that she once made it out from the struggle by believing in herself. Thus, the current self listened to that reassuring inner voice again, deciding to keep going.

She still has friends like AKMU and other YG artists who support her despite Lee Hi leaving YG earlier this year. AKMU’s Chanhyuk was even in her HOLO episodes and was giving her advice and support. So I don’t think Lee Hi was necessarily alone...she was NEGLECTED by the YHS aka YG executive producer who was in charge or managing YG artists. Lee Hi had anxiety/depression because of always being on hiatus and uncertain of her future as a singer because YG always told her she will have a comeback, but never really followed through. The last time she had a comeback was in 2016 with “Breathe” and the two SEOULITE mini albums. But that was all HIGHGRND and TABLO who was in charge of Lee Hi’s comeback that year and they did an amazing job cuz we got 3 MVs and promotions as well as Lee Hi finally going on variety shows. Something that YG couldn’t even do, but TABLO/HIGHGRND managed to do it in one year. Honestly it’s so ridiculous how YG couldn’t even give her another comeback until another 3 years.. last year with “No One” and then all those controversies and scandals happened. I’m glad Lee Hi decided not to resign with YG cuz honestly those two YANG Bros screwed for up for everyone from the YG artists to the new management team/staff/new CEO right now. That new staff and ceo basically has to pick up the mess and try to start over again after everything. That’s not easy at all and I would understand if other YG artists opted out of their contracts in the upcoming years. AKMU and WINNER’s contracts end next year and I don’t know if they will renew their contracts cuz both groups can possibly open their own labels or sign to other labels if they wanted to. Of course...for me.. I would love to see things change and get better in YG.. so the artists can all stay, but A LOT of them has been through so much in YG. It’s really all up to them if they want to stay in YG or not and I will support whatever decisions that AKMU and WINNER make next year. 👍

Lee hi not is alone. she has her fans and this iKONIC.
She still has friends like AKMU and other YG artists who support her despite Lee Hi leaving YG earlier this year. AKMU’s Chanhyuk was even in her HOLO episodes and was giving her advice and support. So I don’t think Lee Hi was necessarily alone...she was NEGLECTED by the YHS aka YG executive producer who was in charge or managing YG artists. Lee Hi had anxiety/depression because of always being on hiatus and uncertain of her future as a singer because YG always told her she will have a comeback, but never really followed through. The last time she had a comeback was in 2016 with “Breathe” and the two SEOULITE mini albums. But that was all HIGHGRND and TABLO who was in charge of Lee Hi’s comeback that year and they did an amazing job cuz we got 3 MVs and promotions as well as Lee Hi finally going on variety shows. Something that YG couldn’t even do, but TABLO/HIGHGRND managed to do it in one year. Honestly it’s so ridiculous how YG couldn’t even give her another comeback until another 3 years.. last year with “No One” and then all those controversies and scandals happened. I’m glad Lee Hi decided not to resign with YG cuz honestly those two YANG Bros screwed for up for everyone from the YG artists to the new management team/staff/new CEO right now. That new staff and ceo basically has to pick up the mess and try to start over again after everything. That’s not easy at all and I would understand if other YG artists opted out of their contracts in the upcoming years.
AKMU and WINNER’s contracts end next year and I don’t know if they will renew their contracts cuz both groups can possibly open their own labels or sign to other labels if they wanted to. Of course...for me.. I would love to see things change and get better in YG.. so the artists can all stay, but A LOT of them has been through so much in YG. It’s really all up to them if they want to stay in YG or not and I will support whatever decisions that AKMU and WINNER make next year. 👍
