Our Ummah is so blessed. Alhamdulillah. So happy I have brothers and sisters from the Jinn. Salam from Malaysia to all believers of the worlds, mankind and Jinnkind.
Assalaam Alaykum. It is a blessing to have a scholar in your community and inspire people day in and day out. MaashaaAllah! May Allah bless this community. May Allah remove hasad, enmity from their hearts. May Allah increase Shaykh Yasir with more sound knowledge, taqwa and good health. May Allah bless him and his family.
Notes from this lecture: Night of the Jinn Prophet pbuh had an interaction with the believing Jinn. - Alqama ( a Tabeyeen) asked Ibn Masoud (A Sahaba, 7th convert), "Were you present with Prophet pbuh on the Night of the Jinn"? - Sahaba would teach their children the seerah like they would teach them the Quran - Ibn Masoud: "None of us attended with the Prophet pbuh" - Quran references this - Surah Ahqaf and Surah Jinn. - Quran mentions two groups of Jinn interacting with the Quran. One group heard Prophet pbuh recite, became Muslim, and went back to their larger group to preach Islam. This seems to happen on the night of Taif (when Prophet pbuh returned to Makkah). - Day of Taif was most difficult for Prophet pbuh (worse than Uhud). Yet on that day Allah sent a group of Jinn to be Muslim. Prophet pbuh was reciting at Fajr and a group of Jinn heard him. This is Surah Ahqaf. - Surah Jinn mentions a group of Jinn heard the Quran. Is it the same group of Jinn as Surah Ahqaf? Allah knows best. Sh YQ thinks it's the same group. Both are late Makki surahs. Back to Alqama. - "Night of the Jinn" means there is one night. Allah knows best. Ibn Masoud then recounts the story. They couldn't find the Prophet pbuh. He was missing and they feared the worst. After Fajr they saw him come from area of Hujn. He pbuh replied that one of the Jinns called me, and so I had to go. - Right now there is in Makkah a place called Masjid Al Jinn. - Generally Jinns don't want to be around activities of men, so they go to abandoned places , so they were encamped near the graveyard of Makkah. - Prophet pbuh spent from after Isha to Fajr with them. We don't have too many details of that night. Tidbits from other hadith. For example, - Once Prophet recited Surah Rahman. When he finished, he asked why didn't you respond? For example I recited this on the night of Surah Jinn, they responded better than you. - Prophet pbuh told us some rulings he taught them. Jinn have sahabah, and their hadith. For example we don't use bones or animal dungs and droppings for istinjah. Every bone that a Muslim says bismillah is food for them and animal dung is food for their beasts (so Jinns have jinn beasts also). - Ummah of jinn is included in our ummah.
Love love the points that were touched upon i e, Surah Rahman recitation to Jinns not Surat Ul Jinn ; Existence of Masjid Jinn; Scarcity of water during Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu alaihi wasallam; Thanks much Dr. YQ 🤲🙌
MashaAllah Tabarakallah shaikh as usual we really benefit from your lectures. I think I'm addicted to all your lectures. Greeting from Adelaide, SA. We just completed fajr salah
Jazakallah khayr. I think the day the Prophet met with jinns and drew a circle to protect the sahaba is authentic because1)that sahaba was witness to it 2) there's a dua that he read which destroyed the shaYatiin into dust immediately as they say. And we r recommended to read it when need be. And Allah knows Best.
@@danishanwar6757 sorry could you please explain? My comment was for a small statement made at the beginning... I thought it may lead to other brothers getting the impression jealousy maybe justified...
does this imply that our mother Khadijah (R.A) was dead at this time? when the sahaba (R.A) where looking for the Prophet (S.A.W.S) ? As-salaam alaikum
DAILY DHIKR TO REMEMBER ALLAH (SWT) SubhanAllahi wa biHamdihi, Subhan-Allahi 'l-`adheem (Glory be to Allah, and Praise, Glory be to Allah, the Supreme) Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two words are light on the tongue, weigh heavily in the balance, they are loved by the Most Merciful One."
