The mistake I made with my first build last month was. I stripped the stand off screw for my deepcool cooler, then they got banned, so had to switch brands

not really since the heat wouldnt be able to get away from the cpu, thats why thermal paste is used to get rid of those gaps, so the heat is spread across the cpu cooler heatsink and the fan cools the heatsink down

a 4080/super or 4090 is a better question. The 3090 is unfortunately pretty underwhelming. You can also take a look at AMD stuff the 7900 gre or 7800xt are some amazing cards. The 7800xt is going on Amazon for 450 at the moment cuz of prime day if you’re in the US . ( wish I was there ) 😢
