Omagari City in Akita Prefecture is a city in Tohoku very famous for its summer fireworks.
However, in winter, it is also a heavy snowfall area with a very large amount of snowfall.

Omagari is gonna be my home base for Kamihinokinai Paper Balloon Festival and Yokote Kamakura Festival. I am super exited and ready for the cold!

Yokote's kamakura is a well-known event in Japan, but the Paper Balloon Festival of Kamihinokinai is not so well known.
I have never seen the Balloon Festival of Kamihinokinai. I would like to see it once.
Omagari is famous for its summer fireworks.
They are said to be one of the three most impressive fireworks in Japan.
It is very cold here, so it is very important to keep warm.
@@Japanesescenery I was here in 2020 for the same round of Festivals and purchased an excellent winter set of gear, I am also a butcher and work in a freezer which can help. But I will definitely be prepared. My trip will be 77 days so I will be having to pack a little heavy to cover the wide range of climates.
