Great video, thank you! I have a Y3, Y5, Y7, and Y9 -- do you think it is okay to include the Y3 in Plutarch or would you keep him separate with Beesly?
Our youngest sat in for Plutarch when she was little. I didn't ask for narrations but she was happy to be with us. I wouldn't worry about adding Beesly!
Thank you for sharing how you implement Plutarch in your homeschool. I have a year 4, and debating if I want to start it. I didn’t know about the guide book so, maybe I will give it a shot.
Thank you for the wealth of information in your videos! I’ve been wanting to begin AO with my children but I haven’t made the leap! My daughter and I are going through Stories from the History of Rome by Mrs. Beesly, a very slow intro to Plutarch. I’ve been a bit nervous about having my ten year old read Plutarch on her own. She loves reading historical books with me and honestly she just loves doing one to one schooling with me but I have 5 children and one is a toddler 😂 which is why I haven’t gone full AO yet. You staying that you read it out loud made me realize that I can modify AO and that my child doesn’t have to be reading all this on her own at ten years old. There may be children who can and I believe she could read it herself but I know she wouldn’t like it and it could possibly create some anxiety on her over it. I want to give them a solid CM education but I’m trying to find the balance! Anyway Ty! It was a lightbulb moment realizing I don’t have to do exactly what it says!!!
I'm so glad it was helpful! Yes, Plutarch is best read aloud, imo. It lets us experience it together and have great discussions. Blessings as you enjoy AO!

I totally didn't realize Plutarch starts in Y4! My girls are currently doing Y2 together, so it's not too far away. Thanks for the info!
You're welcome! Glad it was helpful!
