we Tibetans protect tibetan language and thinking it's important language because of kangyur and tengyur and many buddhist also text are in Tibetan language now those text are translating in English so i think no need learn Tibetan language.
Tibetan language is one of most important heritage not only for Tibetan but aslo for the humanity as whole because there are rich wealth of spiritual , mind and ecological knowledges to discover in Tibetan literatures. Every languages , which the ancestors of different human societies has developed, should be preserved as hetitage of humanity!!!
Thank you for your excellent interview with Khenpo La. It is very interesting and inspiring to learn that we Tibetans have such a precious religion: Buddhism. As Khenpo La says the best language to study Buddhism is Tibetan. Unlike Khenpo La, we, Tibetans, do not have to learn a new language. We have that advantage, and should definitely take interest in Buddhism.
