Social media made people too comfortable being rude without getting fkin laid out.
🤷🏾♂️🤷🏽♀️
Facts!!
For real
Being rude without getting laid sucks yeah
Bahahaha im millenial dad but act like my boomer mom to my kids hahha

You caught that huh? Bars. Lol 😂😂😂
Were they JNCO jeans?
Where these type of dudes at? I’m asking for… myself. 👀🤷🏼♀️😂
BARZZZ!!! 😂😂 But for real we used to play ball in Timbs way back when you could actually send them back for replacement pair. That Sh stopped when that stopped lol
Hell naw😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Mama was a Great Depression child, but also a licensed RN and Army Captain. Her philosophy was, "Switches and belts leave marks. But flyswatters sting just as bad without leaving evidence." And the softer she spoke, the more swats were coming. If she's also gritting her teeth, RUN!
You said was. Is she not with us? 😢

Baby Boomers don’t tolerate disrespect. 😂
At all!
Yeah, but they do take us to war with the wrong countries.
NONE
Yup!!!
Because they failed their kids so badly that they're all disrespectful now.
I’m 51 yrs old and I find it’s a shame that normal discipline is lost on this generation of parents. Your children are precious and parents are blessed to have them. Part of that blessing is raising respectful, productive human beings. When you allow your children to disrespect you, you allow your children to disrespect the world around them. They are only our children for so long protected by our home in our arms once they become adults and they grow up and go out into the world and they act like assholes because we allowed them 😊to, the world will check them real quick, so the best thing parents can do is not coddle their children, but teach them how to survive in this world as a respectful adult.
✊🏾💯
❤❤❤
Well put man, love it
You got that right!
I know right??
But these days the world around them does disrespect them and harm them and actually make some think that the disrespect and harm that they're getting is just normal life and even love.
I mean come on now, brainwashing kids to believe that abortion saves lives, and that kids have the capacity to make the decision to change their genders.
The medical profession isn't even medical anymore.
Being a Millennial son of Baby Boomers I can confirm they don’t play that shit.
Amen!
My mama would pull the car over while on the highway to tear me or my siblings ass up. Baby boomers ain't play!
My brother started to talk back to my mom and the boy only got to mid-sentence before he got the taste slapped out of his mouth. Wham... then he tried to finish what he was saying like a punch drunk fighter that doesn't realize they're out. He gets a follow up to which he raised his hand up on reflex to block it.. raising his hand to his mother, even in defense just lit that fuse for the main charge.
I'm a baby boomer. Where do you think we got that from?? And just hope your parents wasn't from down south. Southerners were very tight with discipline. From that slavery training school. Respect was part of the program too.
@@kevinforeman4485 my Dad’s from Little Rock, Arkansas and my Mom’s from Kansas City, Missouri Dad dealt out the asswhooping and flipped an entire Dinner table onto my brother right after he threw him on the ground for getting smart with him, This year Dad hit me in the shoulder though I didn’t feel anything I just got extremely pissed off though kept my composure despite it.
Too accurate….millennials go from 0 (😀) to 100 (😠) in 3 seconds….all you have to do now is add “I ain’t one of your lil friends…” 🎯🤣
😂😂
Thats me
Straight facts ..I laughed so hard because I'm always telling my kids they ain't about that life...lol. #millennialmom

I'm from JA. The question to repeat is to confirm that parent isn't going crazy and that the kid won't finish the second word because they'd be swallowing teeth.
I'm Definitely the last parent! 😂😊😅😊 😂 Although my children are grown now they still think I'm crazy, but MUCH Respect.
Before you've reached the point of no return😂💥
My dad was a baby boomer, born in 1947. I was born in 1990. The generational gap between us was wide as hell. He was a master of "The Look". Didn't have to say a damn thing if I was acting up. "The Look" said it all.
💯✊🏾✊🏾😂
The Look indeed. My Dad was a WWII vet and career Air Force. We had very little corporal punishment, but the Look brought us right in line.
@leonthefreon6765 The Look! That worked pretty much every time! But you're right, that's a huge age gap. My mom was born in 1943 and I was born in 1962 and we lived with my grandma (born in 1907), so there was no disrespectful talk in our house!
My dad was born in '49 i was born in '88. I feel you
Jesus Christ my grandpa was born in 45 and I was born in 88 haha
Man, totally different vernacular in my house but the same spirit. I love my Dad, but it was a different time. Taking any kind of tone apart from respectful with Dad was never going to end well. He was the type of guy even my shithead friends would stand up straight for. Kind, funny, and generous, but if you're in his house you will abide by the rules.

I'm stealing that line. Lol
When they say "could you repeat that?" It's best that you don't.

Hahahah!! Better say nevermind, and better hope you didn't already make them mega angry. Because then the best possible response is "that's what I thought" and silence.
When they saw them take the glasses off is when you start questioning your life choices up to this point.

@@arcticfox3243~ you know it’s about to go down! 💀
I love these because I can laugh at them. My Mom still lives, and we have a wonderful relationship. My siblings and I can all laugh because she wasn't just a disciplinarian. This woman was tough love personified. Years ago I started saying that I knew two things for sure about her. 1) She was NOT afraid to lay hands (or switch) on disrespectful children. 2) She was NOT afraid to lay hands on anyone who tried to harm us. In short, if necessary, I knew she would take us down, but I also knew she would go down protecting us. It made for a very safe and happy children/now adults.
I’m a boomer. Please show this lovely tribute to your mom. I feel the same way. I’ll lay my life on the line for mine and love them enough to not let the street get to them. My babies are great people and have very smart intelligent and respectful children. My husband passed; so, they check on me EVERY day. ❤❤

😂😂😂
Absolutely! My Dad was famous for pulling that belt out just as you described, sound and all - indeed, that’s the parent of a Baby Boomer, and that’s how the Baby Boomers learned the art of “The Belt.”😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤
Boomer here. My dad never used a belt. He.just brought "the look" and that would usually do it; if it didn't do it, the hand, which traveled at the speed of sound.
Gen X here. My little cousin got mad because his mom told him that he couldn't go outside because it was too cold. He threw a temper tantrum and cried for 30 minutes. I was walking out of the guest room, going to the den only to see my dad pull that belt off with precision. Boy, did I have a 1978 flashback!! My oldest uncle asked me if I was ok. I told him that I was good, before I realized that after he gave my cousin the whipping of a lifetime. That was 22 years ago.
That’s not an evil hiss. That’s Christ asking him not to send you to God just yet.
😂😂😂No. Boomers are like "go find me a belt!"
😂😂😂
💯🙌🏽✔️
@@DEEv82 🤣🤣🤣 that, too.
Naw but for real, my mom and grandma were like that. Dad though, had a specific belt that he would use, that none of us wanted anything to do with.
We were kids in the early 60s, if my mother needed to correct us she would tell us to go outside to the peppertree and get her a switch. Boy oh boy, we didn't want it to be too big, she didn't want it to be too small you better pick the right one cuz she is going to whip your legs right off of you. I'm 69 and to this day whenever I smell pepper I feel loved.😂😂😂😂
My mother was of the Silent Generation. First of all, I would've NEVER said that to my mom. But if I decided to become stupid that day and said 1/3 of what the son said:
The viewing of the body will be at 9:30 am
The funeral services will start at: 11:00 am. 😁😁😁😁

That's because those of us and Gen X learn how to whoop ass from the boomers.
And we would have asked him what he was saying the second time the first time he's smart enough that that would have came off and then one with his ass.
I’m a millennial with baby boomer parents. We were the last generation to get beat without consequence 😂
🤣🤣🤣
Yes, the baby boomers!! Parents did it to us, and we passed on to our children ❤❤ My man
Exactly!!!
I'm Gen Z, my mother is a boomer and my grandmother/ grandfather were the Silent generation. You can only imagine how strict my upbringing was!!!
💯💯
Baby Boomers are children of the Greatest Generation, unless we're talking Silent Gen teen pregnancy.
The Silent Generation are notoriously parents of Gen X (both are smaller in population size than those preceding & following). Almost all Gen Z are children of Gen X. If your grandparents were Silent Gen, and you're Gen Z, then your parents were Gen X, unless you're borderline Gen Y (i.e. born in the late-90s). I'd check the birth years below to confirm...
*Here are the Gens*
Greatest Generation = 1901 - 1927
Silent Generation = 1928-1940
War Babies = 1941-1945
Baby Boomers = 1946-1964
Gen X = 1965 -1980
Gen Y (renamed "Millennials" in 2013 by the media) = 1981 - 1996
Gen Z = 1997 - 2012
Alpha = 2013 - present
@@Living_Dead_GirrlSilent Gen goes until 1945. Baby boomers can also be the younger siblings of Silent Gen who were born in the early 40s.
@@allye4228 It’s interesting, I only found out a few years ago there’s a “War Baby” generation - from a War Baby himself. For reasons only the Editors on Wiki whose edits don’t get retracted (usually the retractors themselves), for all intents and purposes, this gen “doesn’t exist” to them. They just get lumped in with the Silent Generation. My uncle was a War Baby as well. He was the oldest, then came my Baby Boomer father born in 1948 after my WWII vet grandfather returned. I understand completely why the “War Babies” were generationally separated. Their experience was very unique. Incredibly sad, confusing, and disorienting. My uncle born in an army base hospital to my grandma who was completely alone, was the “man of the household” so-to-speak who was already 4 years old by the time he met his father for the first time - and apparently didn’t like not being the center of attention anymore. His father was an emotionally unavailable stranger who was extremely traumatized by his own personal experiences in Europe.
No Boomer ever had a Gen Z baby. Don't go around conflating Gen X with Boomers. We are NOT the same.
That was absolutely 100% right on the money! That was so awesome!
We appreciate it! ✊🏾💯😁
Count One: Interrupting your parents while they're correcting you, mid-sentence;
Count Two: Having a tone in your voice while talking back;
Count Three: Expressing annoyance for being interrupted BY your parents when they tell you to do something.
Count Five: Not doing what you're told to do from the giddyap.
Count Six: Talking back to your parents with any of these starting phrases:
"Didn't I say . . ."
"I told you . . ."
"I said . . . "
" Didn't you hear me say . . ."
-"I heard you the first time"

Baby boomer and can confirm. Been on both sides of that. 😂 You talk to people who had Boomer parents about the stupid stuff they did and the punishment doled out by their parents. Different situations, different punishments but always, always the same last sentence: "...and I never did it again".
It's funny that you say that because the only story that springs to mind when I read this is that when I was a really little kid, I kept saying the f word. My dad kept spanking me. Finally, he raised his hand and it was about to come down and he said something like "I can't do it. I can't do this to my son." It broke my heart and only then did I never do it again, at least as a kid.

Society has become so soft its like you can't even physically traumatize anyone younger or weaker than you anymore. 😔How else am I supposed to be an authority / role model anymore?
I'll be honest, as a Teenager, the whole physical violence, especially with my mother mostly just damaged our relationship, i can't really trust her now and i don't have much of a relationship with her anymore. I also have a certain level of self respect, I'm not some sort of inferior being that needs to be beaten into submission, I'm a human too?, I'm a person with feelings, ambitions and desires, ofcourse discipline is necessary but not for dumb shit like "being annoyed" or "wanting to be left alone" or slightly raising your voice.
The only thing violence accomplished in my family was completely damaging any relationship i could have with my mother.
@@alexanderfernando2995 Thanks for sharing this. I am sorry for your relation with your mother.
I feel there is a difference between giving a slap for bad behavior and physical violence. Also as I mentioned: I was disciplined 'by hand' when I was a kid, so I learned respect the kids way. When I was a teenager I was respectful and only in my late teens, early 20s I started talking back, but I feel it was me going for my independence. Fortunately there was no violence there.
