Canada vs Panama in 2012 was my favourite live sports experience. Canada got the win, De Rosario scored to become the all time leading goal scorer, and at that time it was still special to me that a decent majority of the fans were actually cheering for Canada. Then 7 years later I was at the Nations League win against USA and that probably surpassed the 2012 game for the experience. Now tonight, this game I think probably tops them all. It's a shame they didn't have their act together for getting people into the stadium on time, but once the crowd got in it and the goals started coming it was electric!

The only reason we weren't t good in the past is because 99% of the children were born and raised into hockey, but more and more parents decided to pay for their children to play soccer instead and its finally showing.
I mean soccer still has a long way to go lets be honest. As someone who lives in Toronto, its not like there is just hockey in the way. Basketball is far more popular and its not even close, and the Super bowl in Canada gets nearly twice as many viewers on average than the world cup final, however I do agree that the sport is growing and I want nothing more than it to grow

Buchanan didn’t get a touch on the first goal. It went in off the shoulder/upper back of the defender. While technically counted as an own goal, it shouldn’t have been as it was a glancing deflection. With Phonzie having taken that corner, it should be his goal, giving him two and two on the night.

You can clearly see that the European soccer has rubbed on Alphonso. He is a league on his own. He is carrying this Canadian team.

Rough start with a lot of very weak offensive finishes, but I'm so glad we picked it up. Davies is such a rock in this team, he really single handedly carried us through the first half.

Buchanan didn’t get a touch on the first goal. It went in off the shoulder/upper back of the defender. While technically counted as an own goal, it shouldn’t have been as it was a glancing deflection. With Phonzie having taken that corner, it should be his goal, giving him two and two on the night.
And Davies created another 2 or 3 good chances! Incredible to watch!
