Congratulations on your daughter's engagement! It is so nice to hear good news with everything that is happening in the world. I used to cross-stitch in the early 90s when my kids were babies. I found it to be a nice, relaxing thing to do while they slept. I gave it up when they started school and work got busier. I have recently picked it up again, starting over from scratch. I love it! I have never done a sampler so I would be intrigued to do those you are offering. Thank you so much for the laughs and your video in general. I am about to start binge-watching from the beginning! Wish me luck! lol Edit: You guys are such enablers! I only got to #3 and I have already purchased the Winter Bell Pull pattern from 123Stitch along with the beads that were available as well as the floss I do not already have...then I found the fabric on eBay...so it's all on the way. Hi! Long time subscriber, love the cross stitch and the stories. Congrats on the engagement. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and stitching in hand is challenging now after all these years. I just purchased a Lowery floor stand, I’ve had it 3 days or so, but I’m having trouble getting my magnetic board that holds my paper pattern to where I can see it. Hubby handed me a cow magnet to stick on the stand where it holds the frame. The board sticks quite well and stitching is going better. I’ve named the magnet Hank. Now to get faster at two handed stitching. I also have trouble at night stitching, because I get tired too. Thanks for the video and be well.

I lose needles all the time but when fall asleep always wake io with the needle in my hand and place to stitch. LOL Amazing. Only about 10 minutes or so So I loved Deb telling your story. Loved seeing all of the works and am now picking out some additional projects and counting pin sets. I've been on the POTOKY website watching the various videos on the stands available. I'm working through a shoulder issue at physical therapy and might have to get a new lap stand. We'll see. If I were to be lucky enough to win the lap stand is what I'm most interested in . Good evening ladies, I watch you from Ireland. I do enjoy spending time with you on your site. Your great educators, I did a little cross stitch when I lived in the U.S. in the '70. I'm back at it a short time. I sew, I make quilts, knit and do Neddlepoint. My husband is from Sunbury PA, went to school in Lancaster + spent 8 years in USMC. I met him when he was stationed in Spain and I was touring Europe. We will be married 45 years in October. We live in a rural community in Co Cavan. (Sampler) I am loving it but possibly I chose something too hard.. Coming to America! Wow. I am doing 18 Aida 1 over 1... Whew it is tiny! I cannot imagine yours, Deb! I took a class in the late 70's with my sweet Mama and then just got busy with other things... And even with health challenges --- I can still stitch!

Adding the holiday needle minders is an awesome idea! Now I have to go to Hobby Lobby! lol! Also, Liz, since you enjoy beadwork.... something I just purchased which you might you also enjoy is a Riolis Egg kit. It's cross stitch and beads wrapped around a wooden egg. I purchased mine from Fire Poppies, but most are sold direct from Russia. I'd leave a link here, but not sure that's permitted. Another awesome video, ladies! :-)

I took a break from Flosstube, early on in the pandemic. My Grandson lives with me and I didn’t want to distract him from his home school work. I’ve gotten back into watching recently and I have so much to catch up on. Visiting virtually with you two has been a balm for an anxious soul❤️. I had a good laugh about your relationships with your irons😂. I’m a quilter / mask maker as well as a stitcher so I’ve changed my views on ironing. Before I started quilting, I would only iron under duress. I’m staring longingly at the Potoky’s behind you. No mention of Potoky, but one in use, and one in the background. I love that mini! So glad you mentioned the counting pins. I just use the ones you can find in the sewing section of Joann’s. They come in handy so many times.

You two have been keeping me company while casting off my shawl of 900 stitches, and I enjoy your friendship and the laughter but most of all you both do beautiful work and have inspired to want to stitch it all, especially using that Potoky stand in the background. I love the M-5 but a mine would fit nicely in my home too.

I've been on the POTOKY website watching the various videos on the stands available. I'm working through a shoulder issue at physical therapy and might have to get a new lap stand. We'll see. If I were to be lucky enough to win the lap stand is what I'm most interested in .
Still working my way through the older videos and loving every minute of them. I'm also playing around in the Playlist section and enjoying viewing on topics as well. Thanks for compiling those videos.

Good evening ladies, I watch you from Ireland. I do enjoy spending time with you on your site. Your great educators, I did a little cross stitch when I lived in the U.S. in the '70. I'm back at it a short time. I sew, I make quilts, knit and do Neddlepoint. My husband is from Sunbury PA, went to school in Lancaster + spent 8 years in USMC. I met him when he was stationed in Spain and I was touring Europe. We will be married 45 years in October. We live in a rural community in Co Cavan. Hi! What an exciting week, congratulations to McKenna and Connor! Love all of the projects you're both working on. I haven't stitched any samplers, but I'm inspired to try one--the big question is "which one?!?!" Lots of great choices. Thank you for exposing me to some of them. I have some of the Little House Needleworks Hometown Holiday collection, they have a Needlework Shop too. Very sweet. I think I'll be making them as ornaments for my second Christmas tree--some year. LOVE that autumn finish, Liz! Adding the holiday needle minders is an awesome idea! Now I have to go to Hobby Lobby! lol! Also, Liz, since you enjoy beadwork.... something I just purchased which you might you also enjoy is a Riolis Egg kit. It's cross stitch and beads wrapped around a wooden egg. I purchased mine from Fire Poppies, but most are sold direct from Russia. I'd leave a link here, but not sure that's permitted.

Thank you for all you do. I stopped cross stitch about 30 years ago and have very recently started again. Wow, things have changed. I’ve looked on the Potoky site and really like the floor stands for the scroll frames I use and the small lap stand for traveling.

I took a break from Flosstube, early on in the pandemic. My Grandson lives with me and I didn’t want to distract him from his home school work. I’ve gotten back into watching recently and I have so much to catch up on. Visiting virtually with you two has been a balm for an anxious soul❤️. I had a good laugh about your relationships with your irons😂. I’m a quilter / mask maker as well as a stitcher so I’ve changed my views on ironing. Before I started quilting, I would only iron under duress. I’m staring longingly at the Potoky’s behind you. No mention of Potoky, but one in use, and one in the background. I love that mini! So glad you mentioned the counting pins. I just use the ones you can find in the sewing section of Joann’s. They come in handy so many times.
Congratulations to the happy couple! I’m looking for a cool sampler to work on. I made one years ago for each of my two sons when they were born and I have always loved the antique samplers. As I mentioned before I am just getting back into cross stitch after a 20 year layoff. The craft has changed so much since I stopped. I am so excited for all the new designs you show each week.
