Thanks for the review Tim. I find it odd there's no kick plate in the rear... DT can't be lazy about this kinda stuff there's too much competition this year imo... I'm 6'1" as well so I think the handlebar height is a no go for me...scooter sounded pretty nice otherwise
Dualtron really needs to come up with locking grips, those stock omes rotate out of place. DT Victors also seem to come with tubes in the tires, tubeless would be nice. 60V + 30Ah is awesome since it's not a huge scooter. For someone like me at 5.5 feet, it's just about perfect.
I hadn't thought about the grips..they felt nice...but you're right locking grips would be safer. Tubeless tires is a dream!!! of mine :) and yes 60V 30AH is crazy :) :) Awesome machine :)
Owner of the DT Victor and I absolutely love it! It’s not perfect. There’s a nagging squeaking sound coming from the stem. But I’ve managed to solve that already. Other than that…it is a beast!
@@TimsElectric it comes from the part where the stem folds. It rubs together and accumulates debris for some weird reason so it gets dirty. When it gets dirty it makes that squeaking sound and it’s annoying. I clean the metal parts that fold using a microfiber cloth and a brake cleaner. Just spray the metal part that’s exposed when the victor is folded, then wipe it down clean. Check if there’s still squeaking after. If there’s a bit of squeaking, repeat the process. It should go away. But after a few rides, it will come back. So this time around I use a WD40. Same process…spray and wipe clean. Then if the squeaking comes back after a few rides, use the brake cleaner. I guess the victor just needs some TLC :)

Good video! Question, in dual motor is it hard to moderate the speed...not sin front tire? I have warrior king w two 1500 watt motors 11" wheels 4" wide and it is really difficult to not spin the tires even with the acceleration and torque settings on their lowest...the throttle is same as victor did ou find throttle easy to go slow on Dual motors or is jumpy like the king? I think the controller and throttle must be very sensitive...not a good thing.
Great review. Looking to get a scooter and love the idea of the quality and range of the Victor but honestly, like you, have no interest in going 40-50mph. With that in mind would you recommend this scooter or a lower voltage one (something like the Apollo Phantom)?
Toby, I totally agree...I liked the scooter...it's solid, really well made but do I need to speed? “I need new underwear and a sticky bun for lunch.”
Okee…interesting intro!
Not a huge dualtron fan. There are better options IMO.
keeping it me :)
That’s what I like about it, awesome job Tim.
On the scooter review and the underwear.
lol....tighty whities :)
I’m a huge Dualtron fan, I have a Thunder and that thing is a blast and looks beastly with the wide deck, tires and lower suspension.
It’s also highly customizable.
“ there are better options. “
Shut up dude, I had a Rion scooter and sold it cause.... “ it just wasn’t the best option for me. “
Great review my man.
@@razorraysolarsavings72 cheers, I haven't tried a Rion...probably not a good fit for me either :)
👍💯😉
Cheers Maneff :)
CON TODO RESPETO SEÑOR, DEBERÍA BAJAR DE PESO, SI DESEA CONSERVAR SU ESCOOTER EN BUENAS CONDICIONES Y MANTENER UNA ÓPTIMA AUTONOMÍA.
that's not respectful at all.
im korean seoul
I'm Canadian...Victoria :)
Just needs a rear foot rest.
I think you're right...it's got heaps of power so a foot rest could really help :)
I will have to make some, I feel it needs it too.
awesome Michael :)
Sticky bun in the undies, what??
