- Live at Monsters of Rock is a live album and DVD Northern Irish blues guitarist and singer Gary Moore. It was recorded live on May 21, 2003 at Sheffield Hallam Arena in England, during Gary Moore's appearances on the 2003 Monsters of Rock tour.

Enjoyed the soundcheck more than most live stuff these days. Why? Because there's a lot of soul, feel and dynamics. Like he said it himself "it's like driving a sports car." You got to know when to take the pedal off and when to put the pedal to the metal. The most diverse rock guitarist ever.

O M G!! WHAT a soundcheck!! Sustain forever on his Greeny LP, shredding on a white Explorer, and performing Shapes of Things. My ears are still ringing with those sweet notes of his. RIP Gary, shred-on up there.

1:22 my all time favorite song... i had a dream that Gary was at my house and i was showing him my guitars. He picked up my Edwards Les Paul (a 59 clone) and started noodling on it. we talked a bit. when i woke i had tears in my eyes. I felt like i actually had met him. best dream ever.

The best guitarist in history and for me the best. The only one who has seen his soul put into everything he did. Those things are noticeable. He is called putting feeling. I could never see him alive, I discovered him in the years after his death and after discovering all his work it makes me very sad. Down here we remember you every day Gary. He misses you.

As long as Gary was on fire in this, i hate the Monsters of Rock, because it was the Tour in which he injured his left hand, then the injury went bad with an infection and this forced the deleting of tour dates. This gave Gary some Hard Times, he was forced to sold his beloved Greeny to repay the tour.

What happened how did he injure his hand ? Did he sell Greeny because he lost the case over sgtb copyright?. €30 Million he had to pay I heard.
@@enlightenedchristian3183 no. Sold Greeny to repay the deleted tour, he did injury his tendon but insurance did not pay nothing.

At 50 Gary was a force which was difficult for the other guitarists to stand up and be noticed as he grasped that arena
