I don't understand why SM don't just let them sing live. I know it'd be breathier but this pre-recording (I assume they sing-live beforehand without dancing) can only raise the unrealistic standard of live-singing while dancing
True, I hope they have a chance to go to stage like Coachella so that we can actually hear they singing live. I don't care if dancing will affect the vocal a bit, I just want the atmosphere like that.
I mean whats the point of having powerful voice if they dont even show their true live voices while performing ? ik its gon be tiring af, but it's part of their professions, they want to be a girl group who can sing while dance, so show it. All their voices r incredibly strong and beautiful, enough with pre recorded (at some times it's fine), we want to hear em live.
just want to declare to everyone that pre record does not necessary mean that they lip sync.. it could be that they sang live for this performance beforehand so that the broadcast team can play this performance that goes on the live broadcast

People, live singing means they actually sing on the stage in that exact performance If it's prerecorded, it isn't, its just recorded in a studio with a more minimal editing so it sounds a bit more "live" alike, and not identical to the album version This, is a pre recorded performance How do you know? See, when people sing, there are certain things that are visible on stage 1. Breathing 2. Shakiness, no matter how good of a singer you are, when you sing while dancing like this, you are bound to be a bit pitchy, AND THAT IS OKAY 3. Strain, if you watch many live performances, I mean the actual ones, you can see while people sing, there are some strain/tension around their mouth and neck bcs they put out some energy around those area, those are even obvious when singers belt their voice and do some vibrato, in this case, its just a mouth opening and closing with no strain whatsoever I believe Aespa should be able to sing live, but for some reason they don't Idk if the girls' confidence is the problem, or was it bcs of SM just don't let them I wish they can take some note from StayC, their fellow rookie GG, they are not afraid of singin live in like 75% of their performances, there are flaws, ofc, but that is okay People love actual live performances, people appreciate live performances bcs they know it is fkin hard, and the fact that some idols are brave enough and willing to try are awsome

Aespa stans need to understand that, we don’t say aespa can’t sing live, we literally know based on their singing and rap skills that they can do it, but the problem is their company won’t let them sing live, and even they actually sing live, the company still gonna put the ar for their live performances, that’s what disappoint me actually that sm still holds aespa’s ability to show their live vocals. Sometimes we just lovee hearing raw vocals from the artists, but yea sm better make them sing live, no one can sound perfect or exactly the same as the original audio, we understand that very much, but it disappoints me so much that they treat aespa like this.
Exactly, I'm an Aespa fan and I agree with you. Some of them are really sensitive. Wish they could understand that not everything is hate and that they don't need to put down other groups skills.

I think it's because many rv coreo are not particularly tiring. Maybe the girls are not confident enough yet to sing live the whole song while dancing since the coreo is more articulated.
RV debut when MuCore banned lypsinc in that year until 2016 which is why they sang it live + Aespa debuted when it Covid. Comparing RV who debuted way back in 7 years when kpop isnt that famous like right now and Aespa who still consider rookie since they havent 1 year yet is quite reach though

I think the reason why SM always make their artists lipsync at the first week is because..you know when idols is making a comeback they'll get less sleep,rest and busy all the time....their schedule are packed..which also means that these idols are tired and exhausted...so i think SM make them more focused on their dance and face expression for the first week rather than having people pointing out their mistakes in vocal and such...plus they're most likely to be less packed and they are more relax for the second week's stages...yeaaa thats what i think...sorry for my english😭not my first language😭
lipsync during the first week is understandable. But from debut consistently even with the comebacks? very unusual. It feels as if SM doesn't trust their artists or the artists themselves are not confident yet. It's just worrying because how can they perform in front of a live audience if they are so used to doing pre-recorded ones?

But not music shows. But these girls have a long way to show their talents especially now Savage era just started.
We all know how great their vocals are, specially the high notes ✨🤩 but after hearing the encore I'm sure the stages are pre recorded, if they sounded tired on encore, they would sound even more tired if the were singing and dancing live. By live we mean, their mics on and they are singing while dancing (which is really hard to do but if other groups can do it, why can't they?) (Even tho other groups don't do it perfectly, it's what makes them humans and we know they are giving their best effort) an accompanying playing track is obviously a yes because every group has one for support..
But they are clearly not singing live.. it's prerecorded, i mean, where's their breaths? Are they not out of breath? How can they sing the full lines without being out of breath? I think the reason why SM always make their artists lipsync at the first week is because..you know when idols is making a comeback they'll get less sleep,rest and busy all the time....their schedule are packed..which also means that these idols are tired and exhausted...so i think SM make them more focused on their dance and face expression for the first week rather than having people pointing out their mistakes in vocal and such...plus they're most likely to be less packed and they are more relax for the second week's stages...yeaaa thats what i think...sorry for my english😭not my first language😭
lipsync during the first week is understandable. But from debut consistently even with the comebacks? very unusual. It feels as if SM doesn't trust their artists or the artists themselves are not confident yet. It's just worrying because how can they perform in front of a live audience if they are so used to doing pre-recorded ones?

For you all who don’t understand why SM using pre recorded vocals, it usually like that on first week of promotion, i used to see people say SM want the group to focus on performance instead of their vocals
Not hating tho. I'm MY too. But they did lipsync every performance. We worried if they keep doing this the GP will not consider them as great vocalists. Yeah, they def could sing well without dance but the proof in this wild industry we need to dance & singing live to make a stage presence & attract an audience. Singing live could make them gain more confidence or learn something so any show like Coachella, etc could invite them -IMO

It's not a hate comment, we all know that they are capable of singing live but let's face the truth! The vocal on stage is not live, I guess SM want them to sound 100% perfect ( which is impossible because of dancing).
