My mother never taught me Hungarian as a child so i have been learning it the hard, but best way, by living in Hungary for the last 15 years. I am not nearly as good as I should be, but at least I have some help. I use my 6 year old as my benchmark - he overtook me a while ago but I still learn alot from him. The agglutinative nature of Hungarian makes it very interesting, and as one of the guys said, very poetic.
It is filling me with joy seeing people studying something just for the love of it ! Hungarian is truly an amazing language although very few know it. I just kept smiling during the whole video :)
It's a magic mushrooms to me really.When I was young english was the most beautifull for me,after that the italian because it's like a melody,but now that it's no other like hungarian,my mother language :)
Sokat gondolkoztam azon hogy milyen nehéz lehet külföldieknek magyart tanulni, de mindig is tudtam hogy a magyar az egy különleges, egyedülálló nyelv amivel rengeteg érzést ki lehet fejezni ha jól használod a szavakat. Engem felvidít hogy ide születhettem és most még boldogabb lettem ,mert látom ,hogy ezt az örömöt más emberek is érezni akarják.
I beleive that Hungarian is a very easy language and does not take too much time to learn it perfectly: I was quite young when I started, and I was just two years old when I was almost fluent in Hungarian....
I suggest you listening some hungarian folk music. You will be amazed! Even the hungarian language is very little to describe the feelings that a folk song can give you. :)
Good luck with learning Hungarian dudes with this motivation you are going to be fluent in no time. When you get to a level in a foreign language where you start enjoying literature, it's magic!
I like the way that they handle the Hungarian. I am Hungarian too and I also think this language is the most dinamic, poetic and emotionally rich one (but these are my subjective opinion!) I'm happy to see these guys and hear their feelings about our national heritage. :) Hope there will be more of them!

@Deepforest33 its for sure an easier language when your young but it's a quite difficult language in my opinion and it is the "third hardest language" in the world today
@misimiki not that it makes such a difference, but you can be Irish and British at the same time if you are from Northern Ireland, the same way you can be Scottish, Welsh, Manx or English besides being British. Or is it not so? As a Hungarian I always wanted to learn Celtic languages, for me that had some exotic appeal.
@isitonastar Yes from turkish, from german, from english, from slavic languages, from latin,... so on. Just like every existing and living language it also imports words from other languages. fact.

guys, please feel welcome in our language history! i really like this language too, im a hungarian, but unfortunately not everybody using the language as well as have to. the slang is very funny, its true, but that is also true the hungarians can course the most fluently :) please don't learn this :) (although everybody who comes here learn the hungarian courses first :))

/Sorry for my english/ For 150 years, the Turkish army have captured more than the half of Hungary. He talking about this :). But some ppl says, we have learnt turkish words before we arrived here, where we live now, i think u meant that. :) And otherways, for the german nations, the hungarian is hard, the voices are hard to tell for them :D They don't know for example the ö,ő ü,ű u,ú á :)

@unimaster20 I have a hard time believing that. There must be languages that only have 5 speakers left in the world. Try and learn one of those. There is an example of a language that only has 2 speakers left. They don't talk to each other.
