Chizzy comes across as a bit shy and somewhat uncomfortable in front of the camera, often stumbling for words, so maybe this makes him seem a bit less-intelligent than he is. Or maybe he seems uncomfortable because he knows he's thick and is afraid of making a fool of himself. He could be slightly autistic. Regardless, most people say they like him, so that's more important. Let's face it, professional darts players as a group are not the brightest people!
BadgerBotherer1 weirdly I think lack of intelligence can be a slight advantage in darts as they don’t over complicate things but I completely agree that Chizzy is camera shy which isn’t a bad thing as long as he’s a nice man which he seems to be, so he’s one of my favourite players
I had an official I.Q. test with a psychologist when I was 16, and she told me I had the highest I.Q. she ever recorded. Maybe that's why I'm shit at darts - I'm to intelligent!
I think this was recorded before he started using the diamond points that mess up the board so badly, so I think he actually uses them to make him moan less about the boards
