Widows should be dealt with by other Widows, Hanzo, Genji, Winston, D.Va, Hammond, Tracer.
Reaper or Pharah can also be good, but they're a little harder to get close with.
If the Widow is bad or distracted I can take her out as Ashe lol
i use tank form to kill far away enemies like widow or hanzo, since bastion already has enough damage in close and medium distance

Actually it is: Buy a high DPI mouse put it on max DPI tape the left click down and either spaz your mouse or leave your pc during an earthquake

Someone else said it but the best bastion tip is to get on recon mode and start running back to spawn to switch to literally anyone else.... works best is if u have a lucio speed boosting you since you're slow AF!

Fantastic tips. It just occurred to me that Bastion really is a BASTION. He holds a position and is very hard to break when he stands his ground and fights back.

I love how half the tips are basically just "Hold M1 cause you're going to win".
Well it's true. In a 1v1 situation there's not many characters that can stop his sentry mode. Sombra can hack him out, rein can charge him, but other than that, who really has the utility to stop him from just gunning them down and then healing afterwards? U have to force him to move or blow him up, so basically, Tracers pulse bomb, junkrat, d Va bomb, Pharah. That's about it. And with how Bastion is most effectively played you're not only fighting Bastion, you're probably playing against an Orisa with her shield protecting them both. So that's about 450 bullets just going down range and someone has to get them out of position.

Im a main tank, and I feel like there's not a lot I can do besides, rock with sigma and pin with rein, and with pin I'm just feeding, what should I say to my DPS or whoever? As a main tank I'm shot caller, but I play zero DPS, so I have no clue what to tell them to do, I know reaper is a good counter, but idk
@@Gibbypastrami As a tank u can have bastion focus u and tell your teammates (DPS especially) to attack Bastion now because he's too busy shooting down your rein shield or feeding you by shooting at your Zarya bubble or whatever. Those 2-3 seconds should be enough for one high damage DPS like Pharah or Junk or even a good Reaper to take him out and more than enough for 2+ other characters focusing him down. Bastions get tunnel vision a lot so as long as he's focusing someone else or completely distracted it's easy to kill him. Unless of course he has double shield + mercy pocket/baptiste inmortality lol. Also DVA can defense matrix and even sacrifice her Mech, giving your teammates even more time to kill the bastion. Hog can hook him and get him out of sentry mode. And you can charge him as rein if u flank or if he's distracted lol but that's very situational.
You should do a "One tip for every hero *AGAINST* Bastion"

AN EXTRA TIP TO BE LESS VULNERABLE WHILE IN TURRET FORM:
Make sure you turn into the turret on a wall or an area where your back is covered, because your weak point transfers to your back as a turret, so always have an eye out for your back, or have someone cover you, this is very useful, especially for bastion mains

Hercules I thought that McCree was simple to but I didn't think about destroying a Sym nest with Flashbang or stopping DVA ULT with it either... You truly don't know until you see what people who have grinded these hero's out for an excessive amount of time can do. The whole point of the series from my perspective is to expand the strategies possible with these hero's.

To build on the Genji tip, fire in short bursts to minimize deflected damage and ammo waste
Nothing is more satisfying than getting recon kills on the enemy team. Most people just expect the Bastion to sit in one place the whole time (which, to be fair, a lot of players do), so they don't know how to react when a Bastion starts running around shooting at them. Especially Pharahs. Oh man, fighting them in recon mode is hilarious.

17m and below go sentry. 18 m and above go recon if you can headshot constantly. 30 m just go recon.
It does much less damage though, It's only better at long range.
Try not to use recon against mercy, if she isn’t valk, you can prevent regeneration with turret’s constant damage. If she is valk, the recon generally won’t be enough to take her out
