Day tripping in a huge shopping mall made everyones faces morph into just two big black round eyes on a head that were looking at me regardless of which way they were facing. Buying a coffee felt like a bank heist.

@@TheExplosiveGuy the best would be having friends that behave exactly like you when tripping, like a magic connection, but that is very very rare, I guarantee it's 10 times better than tripping alone, hard to explain. @@LinkinPark4Ever1996 It's so beautiful to trip with good friends. I've tripped 3 times with a guy that gaslit me and my other friend to fuck with us, every time. He would hog the music and shut off our songs and countless other control-freak type shit. He did many things to try to make me freak out that it still makes me enraged over a year later. The feelings of tripping with an asshole can linger longer than the feelings of tripping with beautiful friends, so don't take the risk! Trip alone or with the hivemind, period.

I dropped 13 tabs at a music festival when I was a younger. The first was a blotter, and I was happily tripping throughout the day. Later on, I decided to drive back to my house with a mate, to pick up 'supplies' to sell and we headed straight back. I remember approaching the gates, and there were loads of police outside; searching wondering hippies and doing car checks. I was still partly tripping from before, and the car stank of weed. A wave of paranoia hit me, and I placed my acid stash (12 strong microtabs) along the side of one of my gums. The police waved us through, but I had this really naughty urge to just swallow the lot for a laugh. So fucking stupid...lol.
Shit started to kick in after about 30 mins, but my perception of time completely dissolved after that point. The Space Rock band Hawkwind were playing, and I climbed on stage and sat down in one corner, grinning under black lights and multi colored lazer beams (they were totally cool with me being there). The stage was really looooong, and the whole platform was transported 800 feet in the air, with the band still playing. The visuals were insane, and way, way, way too much. About this point about thirty '8 feet' tall chickens appeared, and started dancing manically to the music. I was too fucked to roll a joint, so chewed on a block of hash to try to calm things down a bit. This was just the beginning... I really felt like I had left the planet.
The next day, I still felt like I was coming up. I spent most of that day sitting in a field, and felt telepathically linked to everything around me. The visuals were still really intense and it would not stop. Qauntum Leaping... seemed to happen many times, and eventually after 3 days I started to come down. However, the effects didn't fully go away. Even weeks later, I would be sitting in a room and the walls would melt, and the floor would open up into a huge abyss. Even after 6 months I would still get regular flashbacks. Thankfully they eventually stopped. I'm in my 50s now and still love to trip, but since that epic experience I became a lot more respectful of drugs as a whole. Stay safe, and happy tripping to you all. Ohm Shanti, x

I didn't have a real purpose or goal for the trip and lost sight of what important harm reduction steps should be taken. LISTEN TO ADAM, HE IS HERE TO HELP YOU BE SAFE ! Never get complacent, never think it can't happen to you. The second you think you've got it made, you'll end up like me. Long story short, I lost all sense of reality and consequence and thus tried to drown myself, punched a mirror and sliced up both hands, ended up stark raving mad in the driveway half naked, got tackled by cops and put in an ambulance. I remember watching Fear and Loathing and drinking DXM syrup all throughout my teens (without a source for LSD in rural London Kentucky) when I finally got my hands on some I, as a sub 25 year old reckless child, took huge doses and realized it's actually crazier than the movie. I didn't get these realistic hallucinations like Thompson, but the alien mish mash of changing features spliced into patterns, it was almost more artistic and complex than anything I'd seen in a movie. But they way you feel will always be an approximation.. Like seeing the world if I was a child, for the first time, but with a practical adult lifetime of experiences and context to understand my unfamiliar surroundings. I guess it's just ego dissolution, the Huxley reduction valve in action, but nothing can demystify it for me. There's just something inherently magical about being able to look at things with a fresh brain. ;) Can't wait for my next trip.. Forcing myself to take really spaced out trips can be difficult.

Acid was a little like this, only did it once so far, but the carpet shot reminds me of a 2C-B trip I had last year where, specifically when my friends and I were standing to leave the apartment and go see some nature (which ended up being a walk through a park, in front of a ton of families and dogs and kids and the elderly). But as we were standing to leave, I looked at the floor and saw that the wood grains were moving and sparkling all rainbowy like a river. It was pretty wild.

yesterday I had an amazing trip on several tabs of acid. when I tripped, I would watch movies and videos on my laptop; and at one point I was in my room, watching my cactus pictures move as well as my over room decor become wavy. I felt no sort of anxiety, nothing scary.. I have roommates who are all sober and had no idea that I was tripping. everything was calm peaceful, full of love and honestly I was able to connect with them in a way that I haven't before. my point is, is that I think its very important to trip by yourself, and be in a safe, controlled environment when youre on any drug. acid is an amazing, peaceful, love drug and it sucks when it is portrayed this way. dont get me wrong, ive had bad scary trips. but again, I firmly believe its all about who you trip with and what your environment is. I could remember traveling to different planets not of this solar system every single time my tongue made contact with a tooth in my mouth. Every tooth my tongue licked would take me to a different planet, I would see myself traveling at light speed to the different planets and entering the atmosphere of these planets made my body really hot and I would sweat A LOT, also I could see music notes and music staffs coming out like waves out of my eyeballs. I couldn’t stop laughing throughout the trip. I also saw lots of mandalas and I heard a voice telling me to “just breathe” when I felt like I was running out of oxygen. I’ve had the “lizard people” experience myself. I watched my friends morph into scaly reptilians. Their eyes were golden yellow with snake pupils. One of my friends smiled and I was terrified to see a grin tearing from ear to ear filled with jagged fangs. I diverted my gaze to another friend that was in the passenger side to find that she also was a reptilian. I turned again to look in the review mirror and there was another pair of yellow golden eyes starring back at me. I was so overwhelmed by the experience, I thought they were truly alien reptiles in disguise as humans. And still to this day I kinda believe it.
