Ji-Sung Park was a midfielder who had 3 lungs and did all the dirty work for the team. Son is an attacker who scores goals and hands out assists. Park was an important player for Man U but he was not a regular starter, often played for specific roles under Ferguson while Tottenham would be swimming in the relegation zone without Son. Other than those two, there really has not been any great Korean players.... Except Cha Boom who was a legend (a scoring machine like Son) in Germany back in the 80's.
son started out at hamburg then went to leverkusen to finally spurs in 2015, he’s viable on any side of the attack, being able to take long shots with both his left and right, he’s truly a talent
Im a spurs fan, theres a big deal about Kane possibly leaving, this would collapse the team, which may be why Conte was brought in with allegedly money to spend. I am amazed and temporarily relieved that noone came in for Son, in my view he would be our biggest loss. He is what you call "a Spurs player", thats a big deal, there havent been many of them in the past 5 years even though the team has done well. Kane of course is also in that bracket. Spurs fans havent had a trophy for 5000 days, but number one is style of play and entertainment. Although, i would love to see two (not much to ask!) Patrick Viera, Roy Keane, Graeme Souness, Alan Shearer types of player in midfield as all fans would agree, Spurs need to compete physically for a change.
@@jinwoo3963 Cha Bum won two league championships with two different clubs in the 1980 when there no Asian footballers in European leagues. He’s also in the Eintracht Frankfurt hall of fame. He played in Europe when there no internet or globally televised games. He was already 26 yrs old when he went to Europe while Son was playing in Europe since he was 16.
Park and Son - both great players, but different roles and strengths, dont need to compare them. Ferguson interview - who was your most underrated player? Park
I always liked Park, but Son is a different level. Absolutely world class. I don't think there's a team in the world he couldn't get into
Son best Spurs player

I agree, I love Kane and he deserves his praise, but I think Son is even better. He's highly regarded but still underrated
Well we can breathe he isn't leaving
It was such a relief to hear that he wasn't going anywhere 😄

Kim min jae is great player
He haven’t played in the big leagues yet, but it’s showing a good appearance in Fenerbahce, Turkey.
The GOAT of South Korea is Cha Bum. He's the greatest Asian footballer of all time. He led two different clubs to European titles in the *1970s!*
Okay? We are talking about now
@@qwertopasdfzxc8835 GOAT means The Greatest Of *All Time* not “now”.
@@CodyCha idc son is better than any other koreans right now🤡

Park had more potential. He was forcing himself to play with a severe injury in his early career.
