@@Lance-c8z it's an Australian accent. If you listen closely, there's random "r" sounds at the end of some words that should end in a vowel sound. In contrast, most British accents take away the "r" sound at the end of words that should end with them. Quite frankly, that's the easiest way to tell the difference.
Hiroto's the best character in this story. He's a very good friend to the MC and doesn't tolerate the tsundere BS of the MC's sister. Too bad the MC's a simp😒

My half sister and my cousin ((my dad's family)) dated when they were middle school but they stop. Even my other cousin ((my mom's family)) used to like me before they move when I was in elementary school. For my dad's family, I've heard my aunt and my uncle/her husband are actually cousins and got married. Not sure if their first cousins or beyond distance but sometimes I still wonder why they got married even though their cousins. It's not that I'm getting mad or nothing wrong because that's their problem but married to ur family relative whether it's ur first cousin or ur older relative like ur grand uncle or so is something I'll never understand or never want to know. having seen something VERY similar to this, well, i cant exactly blame the girl for acting cold and being stupid...
in my buddies case, his 'sister' wasnt even blood related in any way, she was the daughter of the moms sisters husband from his first relationship, when the parents died my friends parents took her in, and raised her as one of their own, she always wondered why she didnt really look much like the rest of them and why she had "unnatural feelings for her brother"....
took her a couple years but.. eventually he gave in and agreed to try dating her, mostly to get her to calm the f down.. and well, as warned by all of us, he was gonna catch the feelz.. the parents were both a bit weirded out by it but also, a more relieved then upset.. at least the 2 were nolonger on bad terms and she had shifted from being a cnut to him to being overly affectionate and clingy..
its worked out though and... still is the butt of constant jokes, including by their own kids.. who have found it amusing as they became old enough to get what was going on... and why so many jokes..
the sad part was.. till she started to be cold, they were way closer then he and his actual bio siblings.. she was a good bit our jr and still hung out with us more then most of her peers.. (we had 3 kids like that who tagged around with the teens.. having to tell adults to relax, its fine, we invited them and no they were not a bother or trouble... and it was better they hang out with us then find their own fun... LOL..)
thing is.. a mild...non violent yandere and tsundere from my exp, both have some crossover irl, and are 2 types least likely to cheat once they are with somebody... even if the tsunderes are horrible at expressing themselves diretly.. once you learn to "speak tsundere" for lack of a better way to put it... alot of the "fuck shes annoying" becomes "aww, shes cute, she really does like me(or whoever)"

i wish i could post a picture here.. i know a couple who look like twins who are 100% not genetically related, they had dna tests 3x to be damn sure since the jokes about them dating their sibling bothered them both LOL..

What i hated about this story is that Haruhi saw the important moment that was Haruki finding out he was not a biological son, as less of a surprising moment for Haruki, but a “wE cAn GeT mArRied!” moment for herself. And she doesn’t take no for an answer, so she practically forced Haruki. That’s very selfish of Haruhi, especially since she acted cold before, and now did a complete 180. I really hate it when the FMC always acts all lovey dovey with the MC after finding out some truth, and what’s worse is she never apologized properly.

Technically, everyone is blood related. If you go back far enough, we all share some ancestors. So the definition of "blood related" is completely dependent on how far you go decide to look back in your ancestry. The countries/states which allow first cousins to marry (most of the world) have decided first cousins fall outside the definition.

Story was really cliche and I’m not surprised. Step sis likes MC but because she thought they were siblings she acts cold and harsh but does a complete 180 after finding out they’re not related and always the Mc is a simp and gives in. I’m pretty sure Haruhi has some yandere tendencies. She drove away every girl that approach Haruki. Who knows how she did it?

I'm going to preface this by saying, I am not too upset with the issue I am about to bring up and still enjoy these stories.
I just feel like whenever the whole "siblings learn that they are not blood-related" trope is by far the most underwhelming plotline and the reason is honestly so simple to fix. The key part of these stories in my eyes is the big reveal by the mother and/or father telling the Protags they aren't blood-related. Of course, I wouldn't be surprised if that is hard to agree with. That is because it is the one element that honestly doesn't quite make enough of an impact to be seen as such. To date, none of these stories handles this scene properly. Most of the time, it seems like it's treated as an arbitrary and trivial thing. I mean this one had ZERO build-ups before just going, "Lolz you're not blood-related, and that's how it is."
I know it's a trivial issue, but I'm hoping that I am not the only one who feels this way...
Marrying your cousin is still a good way for Deleterious genes to combine and produce children with defects. In the very worst case situation, the kids could grow up and become game show hosts.
