I fell in love with the Balkan Architect a few years ago. Unlike Autodesk guys' pedantic styles, he simplifies and makes accessible the whole Revit tool. Very happy about this collaboration.
That outlook mail sound at 24:21 really got me good. Spent a good minute looking through tabs and stuff for my mail before I realized it came from the video.
I followed all your three videos have 5 sides done, except the last little curve could do it to close the loop, I just have to use line to close it :-( Yes, I have 5 pic info, but not know how to put it in the table to close it. I have a C1 delta=83d1'6", L=20.80', R=14.35', S06d11'01"E(R) S89d12'8"E(R) The table only allow put in one baring, I got three. Your tag video worked for me, that was great. Thank you!
Dynamo, Form it etc. are so complicated and user unfriendly that many people have been struggling with these complicated Revit plug ins and extensions. They should make things easier for the mass
Yes, yes, yes! I have long been thinking of coming up with a Set of simple vanilla “cream cheese” / “chip board” placeholder families that can be added to early design stage models. Design is an iterative process and it is absolutely wrong to use highly detailed loadable families whose physical characteristics have not been evaluated and carefully considered yet. Many out-of-the-box Revit families have far too much detail. These professors are correct.
A lot of revit users i know got fat in a span of 1 to 2 yrs, including myself. Any advices on getting the will to live and excercise after long ass work? I gotta lose 10kg.
I'm not really sure how to respond to this... If you are serious or trolling me. Either way, I have used Revit for 12+ years and am not fat. It's simple really, lay off the Oreo's and take a walk every once and a while ;)
I thought that Autodesk going on an online licensing system means that most of the countries around the world could get any version of revit regardless the country. That's interesting Milos says he can't get Revit LT in Serbia.
Creating families in Revit has been always a tough and kind of complicated job. The software company should make it simplified for most of the people. Sketch Up is way more better and user friendly in this regard. Sweet and simple.
Revit is a terrible design tool and a reasonable documentation tool. As a BIM system it was early - but really needs to be completely built if it want to be taken seriously by designers.
Loved every minute of this! Two inspirations in 1 video. Love love love.
Thanks for tuning in!

You can change the camera lens. From the navigation wheel click on the small arrow and select increase/ decrease focal length
Yup, great point! I posted about this back in 2015 for anyone interested >> therevitkid.blogspot.com/2015/03/revit-tip-increase-decrease-focal.html
Love you both

Comparing Revit to Sketchup in this sense is like comparing a child's wooden play blocks to building an actual building out of wood studs and nails.
@@TheRevitKid As a user of both sketchup and revit, 1000% agree what you have said!
people who do revit look alike
😂 Not sure that is ALWAYS true!! lol
Revit surely doesn't go easy on the scalp lol... after 3 years of using revit Im also balding
Autocad is for artists, Revit is for contractors.
🤔
R they related 😳
No relation other than our love for Revit ;) haha
Revit kid bring zack king in nxt episode
Cheers! I'll look him up! Thanks for tuning in!
@@TheRevitKid i mean magician zack king 🤪🤪🤪🤪

I’ve never understood how a software focused on commercial has residential style families. Pathetic.
Im not at all impressed by the balkan architect or his content. The Revit Kid is great though and id wish this episode with balkan was never made.
Very basic stuff
