If they kept JJ how much of a difference would he realistically make? It’s okay to move on from him. Besides Jeanty this rb class has potential to be as good if not better than the 2017 RB class

Minshew has been pathetic all year long and yet AP sticks with him (until injured and out for the season). Minshew was the starter from the first game and was horrific from the start....AOC was the better choice. AP failed to make the right decision at QB. Ridder has been a better choice since the AOC broken thumb, but there is Minshew still in there giving the team zero chance to win. Minshew is clearly not even an NFL caliber QB at this point with his slow feet and candy arm. And there it is, yet you say AP deserves another shot. Why?

Because it was all planned and we're tanking big time. I think if they really were tryng to win they would've done a lot of things differently especially at QB. AOC gives the team a chance to stretch the field and run a normal NFL offense, Minshew is a backup QB who can keep a team in contention for 2-8 weeks as long as the team is pretty good. I guess the org. decided they couldn't win with AOC and decided they were going to do what a ton of teams were doing forever and write the season off. They fooled me because I thought the defense could carry a shaky AOC led offense but right when the season was about to start Koonce is out for the year and the black cloud hovering over this franchise continues. We even had a fantastic draft for once so I really thought this was going to be a fun season where we'd compete for a playoff spot, boy was I wrong and as soon as I saw us starting Minshew I said to myself are they tanking. I think they were afrai d we might finish close to 500 if AOC starts and without the other dominant DE the D couldn't carry the team so they paid Minshew good money to contribute to this mess and if by some miracle we were good that's ok as well. It's going to be a long time before I get suckered into thinking this team is going to be good although I think Telesco is an actual experienced GM so perhaps they know what they're doing with this tank, I hope so anyway.

Jacobs is the third leading rusher in the NFL with 944 yards. As a team the Raiders have rushed for 821 yards and are last in rushing.
