- Had a heck of a time figuring out what fits and what doesn't to mate the FAST LSXR102 to the LS1. See below for a list of parts I used!
- Steam Pipes: www.ebay.com/i...
-MAP Sensor Extension (I mistakingly say MAF Sensor In Video): www.amazon.com...
- Fuel Rail: www.amazon.com...
Love the video I knew there was some needed modifications for my ls1 but this video helped alot. Can’t wait to order mine asap 🤘🏻
Hey dude , ik it’s been a while , but would you mind sharing some pics or making a vid how to connect the vacuum lines with this intake? Can’t find this info anywhere
Thanks for the video. Lots of good info. Does it come with throttle body and intake port gaskets? Are you using an OEM injector seal? Or FAST seals
Hey thanks for the feedback!! It does not come with the throttle body. I got this one and transferred parts over www.fuelairspark.com/102mm-big-mouth-throttle-body-w-out-tps-or-iac.html
You also have to get intake port gaskets.www.fuelairspark.com/8-lsxr-intake-port-seal-ls1-ls6-ls7.html
Injector seals (o-rings) came with the new injectors I installed. LS1 style injectors need different o rings to fit if you are staying stock.
Why did you plug the vacuum on the throttle body. Dosent it connect to the valve cover. Also mine is connected to a oil catch can. Not sure if thats right. I bought it like that.
NOTE: WHEN I SAY MAF SENSOR I MEAN MAP* SENSOR
What heads did you use? Im thinking of doing trick flow as well. Thanks
I have a fast 102 on my ls1. Need to change both knock sensors. Do you think its difficult? Should i pay to have it changed or do it myself. Im a decent mechanic not a novice.
Shouldn’t be too hard. Just make sure to put a little bit of silicone around them when installing them
So your stock pcv pipe (from break booster to intake to top off valve covers) didn’t fit on the lsx intake?
Pipe diameter was fine just needed to get a longer tube
How did u vent your crank case since you called off the ports?
I sold my Fast intake after I failed to find any air cleaner and tubing that would fit the thing. What did you do for an air cleaner, or did you leave it off?
I measured the outer diameter of the throttle body and my MAF and got a coupler fit. Air filter is connected to the MAF like before
@@56DannyF56is there a restriction in airflow from the MAF being a smaller diameter than the 102mm throttle body
What are you using for throttle body cable bracket
No problems using LS3 rail and LS3 injectors on the LS1 fast intake? spacer or adapter used or no?
Oddly enough the ls1 fast intake goes better with ls3 fuel rails and injectors. ls1 injectors are too long and require spacers but ls3 injectors do not
You just need to get ls1 harness to ls3 injector connectors. They’re cheap on Amazon
@@56DannyF56 I think the injectors you have are actually LS2 injectors. According to most LS forums the ls3 injector is too short and needs spacer. The ls1 is too tall but the ls2 is in middle no spacers needed. Even in the video you say “ls2 injectors”
@@56DannyF56 did you use ls3’s on yours? I have a lsxr 102 I’m gonna throw on my gto this winter and have a set of ls3 injectors but really haven’t figured out what I want to do yet.
Is this the same case for the 92mm fast intake manifold?
Im honestly not sure but i doubt it's much different.
No ls3 intake adapters?
Not sure I understand your question. It's an LS1 intake on LS1 heads with LS3 fuel rail and injectors. Everything mates up for the most part. You will need an adapter to plug the LS3 injectors into an LS1 Harness if you go that route. Let me know if you have any more questions!
