The best interviews I’ve seen have been interviewers who let these survivors speak without interruption. They are recounting severely traumatizing events in a language that is not their first, and many of these reporters are rude and try to rush them through. Let the people be heard.

All the young people from the festival interviewing to get the story heard globally are so incredibly valiant. I would not be able to speak the words properly to do an interview like that. Incredibly strong. Undeniably brave. Thank you for talking about what happened so everyone can know the horrors. All those souls lost. The interviews from the festival survivors I've watched so far mention being somewhat accustomed to war. But even that did not prepare them. I wish Sahar the very best. All the atrocities he has witnessed and the pain he will have to work through... I hope all the survivors can get the help and support they need to work through this injustice forced on them. This will haunt survivors as war does. But in 2023, this feels less like war and more like mere slaughter and murder. How shameful it is that we can hurt innocents this way... What stopped me was they were going to give you precise location only after payment and near the date. Which put me off. But makes you see that Hamas somehow infiltrated and prepared. A friend of a friends son was there, they got a call to say he was hiding and running. He hasn't been heard from since. Another called his family to say he was alive and all of his friends were dead. Another was locked in their safe room with the terrorists outside, she survived. I know this is real.

He's the second survivor I've heard was guided in there by the police. The sheer horror these innocent people went through us worse than any nightmare. His injuries will heal but the mental scars may be another matter. RIP to his girlfriend and all the others slaughtered 😔

All the young people from the festival interviewing to get the story heard globally are so incredibly valiant. I would not be able to speak the words properly to do an interview like that. Incredibly strong. Undeniably brave. Thank you for talking about what happened so everyone can know the horrors. All those souls lost. The interviews from the festival survivors I've watched so far mention being somewhat accustomed to war. But even that did not prepare them. I wish Sahar the very best. All the atrocities he has witnessed and the pain he will have to work through... I hope all the survivors can get the help and support they need to work through this injustice forced on them. I wish the segment had been a bit longer and that the young man could've just told his story in his own time instead of being rushed live on tv. I think the anchor did empathise well, but I don't feel he needed questions to guide him to tell his story. I have no words strong enough to express how I feel other than profound sadness. This young man will be suffering from PTSD for a long time. I hope he and all the other innocent people who survived this horror receive the emotional support they will need. I'm heartbroken for all of them.

But I will carry this experience, for the rest of my life. My experience, was being a first responder to an 19 month old child, being run over by a long freight train. Across the road, from our house. I won't go into the details, of what I saw and heard. As I wouldn't want, anyone else to be confronted with it. Also, I am not a weak person, as the man labelled PTSD survivors to be.
