I bought the physical reference handbook because for me it is easy to study. I made some annotations on the handbook, so can I take it with me or just only the electronic version will be available on the exam?

David Peralta You won’t be allowed to take in the physical copy. You will be given an electronic version to use.
Hey. Is the FE exam questions come in order [Math, statistics, PC tools, ethics, Eng Econ, Electric, static, and so on] as it shows in exam CBT specifications sheet. Or the questions all over the place? I hope you can still remember because I'm taking it a month from today,.

What is the shortest time that a fresh graduate civil engineer should study to pass the the FE ?
Really depends on the student. I would recommend taking a practice exam to see where you currently stand. You only need about a 65-70% to pass the FE Exam.

What are the differences between testmasters and school of PE?
MOHAMMED MAHMOOD I’m not too familiar with Test Masters.... I just know School of PE is excellent and I highly recommend their online onDemand course.
@@Rob_Lerch I appreciate the video. I purchased the testmasters course last year. I studied for the exam. I did not solve all the questions yet. I am confused because I do not know if I studied enough or not.
And I am thinking how School of PE is different.

MOHAMMED MAHMOOD I would take a practice exam and see how you score. If you get around 70% or higher, you should be prepared enough to pass the FE.
Hi I did my graduation (civil engineering) in India can write the EIT exam ,syllabus and the concepts are similar right?

Roberto Galindo Since the FE covers everything you learn in your University curriculum , a good time to start would be end of junior year. That would get you prepared to take the exam before or recently after you graduate.

I failed with my exam last week i just focus in the ncees fe civil. 😭😭😭. . Do i need to buy also the fe civil ethic? I will retake it again never give up here, just need more help and advice here..

I feel like the exam got harder lately. When did you take your exam? Also how much was the school of PE?
He took the FE NOT PE
The OnDemand version I took is $290/month. I'm not sure if the exam got harder, but it is weighted to account for difficulty level.
Hey please, could you make a list of what the FE manual Lindbergh over discussed and the shortage of it.
أسامة بسام Hey, I do not have a list of the over discussed lessons, but basically if you look up the list of sections on the FE civil, it’ll display the sub sections which are on the exam, this will give an indication if something in the Lindenberg book is relevant or not.
@@Rob_Lerch Okay, I looked at it, but basically in the environmental and material parts, Lindbergh discussed deeply in them. What should we do ?
If you just have looked over Lindbergh manual and select the pages that just have wasted our time🙏

TIMMIAY I’d do them before hand. You’ll gain an understanding of your strengths and weaknesses that way.

@@jejeje3697 I was in grad school when I reviewed the material. I probably studied about 4 times a week. My advice to you would be to figure out a study schedule which suites you the best. If you can study an hour a day that's great. But if you can study a few hours for 3-4 days a week, that works too.
I’m studying for a week.... but to be fair I’m a senior in CE so technically I’ve been studying for 4 years right? Let’s hope that counts.

@@Rob_Lerch as your and my understanding when you solve a problem you need to write the steps down bc our brains cannot take it. I feel like this exam is plugging numbers to the equations
Do you need to study beyond the content of the fe manual? Is lindeburg practice test good to use? I notice lots of questions were not in the manual and digging deeper into the code.
I would recommend buying the practice exam and using the fe manual to help solve those practice problems.

Yasser Talib Part 1 consists of mathematics, ethics, statistics, statics, dynamics, economics, mechanics of materials, materials, fluid mechanics, and I believe hydrology. Part 2 covers structural Engineering, environmental engineering, geotechnical Engineering, transportation engineering, construction, and surveying. This is just off of the top of my head. I would double check on the NCEES website, it will tell you all of the topics, how many questions are included for each, and which section they are in.
Are the problems from the practice exams similar to the FE exam problems but just different numbers?
I can't say they are exactly the same, as in just with different numbers. But they are the same level of difficulty. If you can comfortably solve the practice problems, you should be able to solve the one's on the exam.
@@Rob_Lerch the problem that I am having is that I already memorize all the practice problems.
@@elmz411 Best to find some more problems, and come back to the ones you memorized later on, and do them again. Most important thing is that you understand how to solve each problem, not memorize them.

@@simlazakkeer8972 I have contacted Engineers Canada on their own website via email and asked them whether an engineer with an EIT licence from NCEES would be good to practice his profession inside Canada and their answer was simply no. EIT in Canada is different from that in America, to work in Canada you must register as an engineer in any provincial or territorial engineering syndicate and get your Canadian EIT licence and then work as an engineer
