Recently saw this band perform in DC, what an incredibly invigorating performance. It was hard not to get completely entranced and lost in the rhythms, everyone was dancing. The vocalist started doing the strangest disco dance moves I've never seen before in my life, I couldn't relay the feeling and vibe of the venue with words but wow what an energy.
On first watch, I was shocked and laughed for 20 minutes during the performance and 20 minutes after. But something resonated, and I keep coming back and love this performance and the music. Thanks Audiotree for bringing original music to the show. Water From Your Eyes rocks hard!
To add to the chorus, saw them in Potland in Dec (22) and they were mesmerising. I was a little scared at the absolute wall of dissonance they started off with but it settles into something absolutely compelling. Great live show, don't miss.
Only just finished the first track but it absolutely rules, love how kind of repetitive/pulsing the first bit of the song is and then how it changes up around the 7 minute mark. Sucks that there are so many dipshits in the comment section but cool to see something a bit "different" on Audiotree, pumped to check out more
Saw them live in Cincinnati, they opened for Spoon and Interpol. Couldn’t tell if I hated it or loved it at first but Track Five made me come back. It has a lot of ideas I think are really neat
This performance feels like baby's first experimental Avant Garde band, Straddling the line between horrible musicianship and attempting something abstract.
We must have watched a different set - I have seen my fair share of dogshit pitiful attempts at doing experimental-yet-structured music and this is not one of them. These are talented musicians and the composition is very interesting and impactful.
