Hi freedom and thanks. OK they are fine but you need to use them immediately when they come out of the freezer, they turn very ugly. Thanks for watching. Gary
I really like them, but I just found out they do not grow in my area, to dry, need to much water. I am going to have to rethink how I am going to grow this bush. Nice to know they are near your home too. Thanks Darren
That Chip is the hardest part of the kumquat is the seed, normally I eat them skin and seeds but when making a drink or smoothie have to remove the seeds. Thanks gary
Good to see you over here bro light them up Outdoors congrats on your monetization how's it going healthy vegan living nice playlist bro God bless bye for now catch you on the rebound
While it may bruise them I'm thinking about vacuum sealing them to remove as much air as possible to prevent them turning brown. I need to get with someone who has a freeze drier.
Hi Billy and thanks for watching, Loquats are a chinese fruit, very sensitive so you will never see them in stores, some jams maybe. Thanks for watching, Gary
Being chinese, we had a 10 foot + tall loquat tree in the backyard. We had loquats up the ying yang every year and had to freeze and give away most of them. nice vid buddy, like #26
Yes they are never in the stores because they are so fragile. They are only in some months and they taste great. You do see some loquats jam but never the fruit. Thanks Gary
Hi, Playte is a Chinese fruit and it only lasts a few months and they are very tender which is why you never see them in the stores. Thanks for watching Gary
Here, they do not sell loquats because it's too hard to keep nice, it ripens all at once and it has a very short window where the Loquats are available. Thank you for watching. Gary
I appreciate very much you stopping by my channel, Gay. Returning you the support with a _full_ play and like #41 from Bits of Real Panther! We're creeping our way to the weekend. I hope yours is extra-special, friend!
Hey bro Panther, we are family, I love you stopping by and I try to do the same for you. Been unpacking and yesterday lost my laptop power cord, was crazy looking for it in the trash. All wrapped up in loose paper. But I got it now and I am catching upon comments so I can watch tonight. Hey have a great Labor day too my friend.
I was curious about the loquat seed coffee idea so I looked up their toxicity, about they are waaay more toxic than apricot seeds, even with best practices, I wouldn't try. Unfortunate, would have been super cool.
Great point, but I understand there is a method to reduce toxicity. I was curious as eating delicious fruit and coffee from the same tree would have been a win-win. Thanks, Mr. Pickles. Gary
Hi Jane and Ken, they grow plentiful and they can overwhelm you too. But I have planted a few in my backyard to feed the animals and me of course. Thanks Gary
That looks like a lot of work thanks for sharing your Technique I appreciate you taking the time show how this is done good job Craigslist bye for now Ken
Hi Ken, had the air conditioner checked and installed new filters the air is much better now. We are all taking the day off and I am working on YT videos. I have to work on September only a few days away. Thanks, friend. Gary

Hi Steve, very strange taste these seeds came from China. Most chinese families know of them they will take over the backyard if you water them. Froze rather well but lasted only two days unfrozen and it lose it nice look too. Thanks Gary
Hi Jerry, I remove the pits, but that doesn't mean you could just wash them, dry them and freeze them. But once unfrozen you need to use them immediately bc they turn to mush. Thanks for watching this video. Gary
Thanks New friend, and I have registered to you too. Some day soon I hope we plan on moving back. The plants will not grow here in Riverside county. Gary
I hv taken out all the pulp, made a smoothie , then converted it into frozen cubes n in d end put it in d freezing bags. But I don’t know how long it is safe to use after freezing ....do u know
Hi Bal, it's good for six (6) months! But sometimes, I forget my loquats and they are still good near a year. But you need to use them right away as they lose their color, taste and turn into slush. Write me anytime maybe we can exchange recipes. Gary
Hi Turtle it takes 5 years or more to harvest a loquat from seeds, I was hoping to purchase a plant but I can't find them in my area. Kumquats are no problem so I am lucky there. Thanks for watching, Gary
They are a strange fruit and have a very short window were they can be used, once frozen, it need to be used that very day otherwise they turn brown, Thanks for watching. Gary
My plant died because of the intense heat here in Riverside Valley. But my friends have huge trees and the fruit only last a little while, freeze them as soon as you can to enjoy this fruit throughout the year. Thanks for watching and looking forward to see you again here. Gary
Yes Macy; it a very interesting fruit and it damages easily which is why you never see them in stores. Maybe an Asian grocery store might have them. The fruit is similar to blend of apricot, plum, and cherry but the seed is poisonous. Thanks for watching Gary
9:44 shows the fruit being placed in freezer bags, yes I do not show them because they enter the freezer compartment area. I am happy you enjoyed this video. Gary
Bite the top off. Suck the seeds out. Spit the seeds onto the sidewalk. Seeds bounce far. Put the whole thing in your mouth bitting off flower butt. I must have eaten thousands of loquats.
My tree is in my front yard and neighbors come and ask all the time if they can pick some. I tell them to help themselves and offer them a bag.😂😂😂
That a good way to share your fruit last season my fruit died so I have to ask friends again. Thanks for watching. Gary

That, to me, makes good sense, I have never tried it, but the other choice is to can them in a pressure cooker. Gary

Hello Shimmers and long time but I love that your visited. Gary
Do you add lemon juice to the loquats after you cut them so they don't turn brown ?
No Geeta, I didn't but that is a great idea. They turned brown after one day out of the freezer. I just use them up before that happens. Gary

These belong to my friend and they cut the new brances off the tree and leave the old. Gary
can I wash, dry, and freeze the loquats whole or do I have to pit them?
