Deffo breakbeat, I can hear nods to tracks from the 2000's from the likes of Azzido Da Bass, Stanton Warriors, Deekline & Wizard, Bassbin Twins and Plump DJ's to name but a few. Fairplay James, its great to hear references to those heavy breaks coming back around.... the feeling through a big PA is nuts! Plump DJs - Scram is a great example. Looking forward to this!
@@JamesHype and thats alr i like your videos for example i really enjoy playing techno etc even tho iam really at the beginning. but 100 people 100 tastes as they say, love your vids.
2:30 kinda reminds me like jungle dnb, or the whole uk garage vibe from that sound. maybe play around with that sample to create a funky lead synth at some point
I love it when DJ's show their love for music. Playing a set is one thing, but all the preparation is mostly invisible. Dj's are such open minded lovers of music. Love this video. Would love to see more of this.
Bro I love seeing the genuine excitement when you create something great. Your heart soul and energy is in your music deep. Hyped to see you at 3 points (pun intended lol)
Classic tune from the 90's "Bells of NY" by Slo Moshun, one of the definitive slow-down-speed-up tracks (also drops into a breakbeat) , such great energy
So you've discovered how to make music from the mid 90s. Big beat, fluke, Dylan rhythms naked and ashamed, dub pistols chemical brothers, Fatboy slim etc
Always appreciate you and your team sharing the experience and insights thru your vlogs, James! Very informative, entertaining, and inspiring. One day, I hope I can B2B with you. Thanks for the inspiration and the energy. Big big fan boy from Vegas. Much love and stay safe! 🫶🏻
Great... now you triggered us all with some new Pioneer Equipment stuff... but we have no idea... Fingers crossed they finally fixed the hotcue jitter problem But also great new track ideas! Sounds awesome! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Hey James, you’ve been performing in so much clubs in Europe, but you never been in Bulgaria.Trust me you have lots of fans in Bulgaria. We want to see you perform in our country someday!!! Greetings from Bulgaria and stay Hype Bitch!!!
Dude, I'm 57yrs old. Nothing and no one has ever made me feel like I *WISH* I was 35yrs younger. You're unique, you're generational, and I missed out. I love your vibe, your connection, your passion....what an absolute fkin gem you are. I would have followed you into the gates of hell.
Don't understand this one.. What's age got to do with anything? Music.. especially house music.. is literally based on the foundations of no discrimination, peace, love unity and a mad love for music. Only YOU can decide if you missed out.
@@brendanssound The point I was trying to make is that I wish James had existed before I got married, had kids and lifestyle responsibility changes that mean I can no longer devote time to the experiance of going to these events. 35yrs ago, I could have. And in all the time I spent going to watch DJ's and promotions, I could have, and would have, spent an awful lot of time and effort in turning up wherever James was playing. Age hasn't got anything to do with it generically, I was referring to MY age, specifically.
Hey when the best shirts on the world are available again? 😊 #realdjing Nice Episode like always please keep going, love this behind the scenes content.🤙
17:17 is DOPEEEE just needs a loopy vocal like BOUNCE RHYTHEM SEX DRUGS LOVE CUTS SLUTS BUTS FEEEEEELLLSSSS REAL!! Automate the volume in slowly do key changes to the vocals and its fkn FIRE!!!!!!!
3:50 perfect transition between the drop and the diesel engine of the mercedes vito
Ahah true
haha thought that too

My thought too 🤣 I was sat here and thinking fs please don't say he thinks he just invented breaks 🙏🏼😅🤣
Nu skool is coming back? Blimey where did my balloons go haha
Reminds me of prodigy a ton with those drums
i give it like a few months and james is playing hard techno xd
I just don’t like it
And he will say he invented a new style once more. :)
@@JamesHype and thats alr i like your videos for example i really enjoy playing techno etc even tho iam really at the beginning. but 100 people 100 tastes as they say, love your vids.
james played a purely techno set at edc too
@@JamesHypeCan relate😂
dnb coming in to the roster
Hahah thought the same, very dnb bass in the first demo
Slowly but surely! lol we’ll get there eventually
its definitely getting attention by a lot of successful artist's in the game right now. They have been breaking it out slightly I've noticed. Love it!
Yeah I was like dammn no way James did a halftime DnB drop
Nooooo not dnb.
the last track is so sick!!
2:30 Sounds like Drum&Bass elements move into James songs. I luv it!
completely agree!
Bass house.. bin around for a while now...😂
Breaks, not dnb.
@@AndyB-ql6hmnearing the puma / mountain lion level of relation lol
that boom boom pow thing sounds sick 🔥 love to see you exploring around!
The amen break still does it
amen to that
8:11 Smack My Bitch Up - Prodigy instantly comes to mind
it's f*ckin great
“Big beats get high all the time” - peep show
i feel the same! ahah
Yeah just pure UK sound, nothing new under the sun.
I love how dedicated you are to understanding the crowd and continuously refining your music. That’s the right approach!
10:00 - add a 1 bar break then break the vocal back in just saying '....i like that ' DROP
Love how you're transforming into a more oldskool piano house vibe, also break and acid music too .... some sick tracks!
DnB vibes on the new track
that is crazy how much tita sounds like fergie... mad impressive 1:45
2:30 kinda reminds me like jungle dnb, or the whole uk garage vibe from that sound. maybe play around with that sample to create a funky lead synth at some point
yes yes yes!
its really 140 / ukg based and im so here for it
breaks too
I love it when DJ's show their love for music. Playing a set is one thing, but all the preparation is mostly invisible. Dj's are such open minded lovers of music. Love this video. Would love to see more of this.
My boy @James Hype stumbled across mid-late 90s Florida Breaks. 🎉🎉🎉
Yeah had a laugh at this one haha. Can’t wait until he discovers Vitalic, Laurent Garnier, and all that other 2000s French techno lol
The fog horn is a nice touch to your new tracks mate.
Amazing work on the new track James ! Wouldn’t you say this sound your working with is closer to Breaks, Bass House or UK Garage ?
This is Breakbeat, a style that is currently predominating in producers from the south of Spain and that has been playing since the 90s
Soo nice too see you taking us on a journey of experimenting with new music. Great pleasure, thank you
That boom boom pow drop is crazyyyyy 🤯🤝
Bro I love seeing the genuine excitement when you create something great. Your heart soul and energy is in your music deep. Hyped to see you at 3 points (pun intended lol)
It's breaks James... you've discovered breaks... something we would dance to 25 years ago...
Classic tune from the 90's "Bells of NY" by Slo Moshun, one of the definitive slow-down-speed-up tracks (also drops into a breakbeat) , such great energy

This is big beat yeah? Got that late 90s Chemical Bros vibes. The bass is different tho. Pretty sick
James Prodigy Hype 🔥
I thought that too.
Same
Bunch of sick tracks in here 🔥
Drop 'em soon James we need them 🙏
2:29 reminds me of Rumblah by Gorgon City, very cool
great video as always 🔥, good to see experimentation to keep the music fresh
p.s if you need d&b, hit me up 😂😂
I would love to see you play a hard techno/hardstyle set. With the way you mix and the energy you bring, it would go off 🤪
the boom boom pow remake by tita sounds exactly like the original so good.
Absolutely loving the oldskool sounding vibes and breaks , 🔥🔥
Ps you lot go to slow down ,you looked absolutely frigged 🙈
the reason why I love listening to you is you play the tracks and test it on the crowd
Nice one Boris 😂
That first track reminded me of Crystal Methods ‘Get Busy Child’. Awesome mix bro 👊🏻
Oh hey that boom boom pow drop was surprising, really cool, definitely fresh and different and unexpected (love that)
2:59 that is actually sick tbh 😂
James Hype gives me mad scientist kind of vibes
James discovered DRUM N BASS finally 😊😊😊
Great music, very good work, congratulations! I can't wait to add there to my list is to play!
Not even wired at the end LMAO Go On Son. I fcuking love you!
8:54 WTFFF PLEASE RELEASE IT!
that track sounds like a Breaks tune (Breaks is a genre btw). Also, that bass in the drop could benefit from some more movement.
The new track you played at Hi was the best of all of them imo! real good!
The 2007 breaks sound then.
Has to act like he made a whole new genre for everyone who has been listening to house music for 20 years 😂
The new tunes are so fire 🔥🔥🔥
That tita vocal is damn impressive on her party
Gives me Plump Djs, Deekline & Wizard, Stanton Warriors vibes 🤘
So talented, but so down to earth, and to the point.
New break beat music is awesome.
Loved the break beat track at Creamfields last weekend after Number 1.
Super cool switches 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
That last drop for me was hella sick. The fast bass hit sounded sick
A touch of Odd Mob on the new one with that stretched wuuuuuub. Can’t wait 👌🏽
Definitely Prodigy vibes right there. With a bit of modern day swagger 👊😉
Sounds like the tunes we were listening to around 1991 with a sprinkle of D&B. It's all about the amen break.
James, the legendary Chicago House DJ 'Ron Hardy'(RIP), would have loved that last track you made.
2:30 tuuuuuuuunnnnnnnneeeee 🔥🔥🔥 can’t wait
Best tune you’ve done by a country mile - just what I was listening to in early 2000’s when breaks were big - technique in Leeds was 😎
Let me lay vocals on that house/breakbeat!!! Wouldn’t let you down fr
Love the new tracks 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Basically a fog horn + amen break... man I lov u but this is just breakbeat xDD
james! you just made electro! if you add a little more punch it could even be electropunk! check out Locked Club or FAIRIEZ for more of it
James I love the videos when you travel and make music the latest music will be on Spotify.

Fire episode indeed! Whole team killed it as always!
Absolutely loving that breaks track, 10/10 would buy on Beatport
Good producer knows that mixing genres is the best things to do, no matters what haters say.

It’s what we call a breakdown. They are used a lot in goa trance.
boom boom pow sounding pretty breakbeat. Love it!
the first new track was insane. i think the last one cause use some more in the drop and the second was was also juiceeee.
Love the eyes you have for lights as well!
Straight up dnb. love it.
Why not try spinning Breakbeats? That boom boom pow is breakbeat, especially with that bass drop
@9:06 or so... James, that reminds me so much of PRODIGY - FireStarter... Dope Track Man !!! Cheers from Spartanburg, SC, USA !!! =)
Hey when the best shirts on the world are available again? 😊 #realdjing
Nice Episode like always please keep going, love this behind the scenes content.🤙
I was in Mykonos three days ago, should’ve known James might be there

Bro he already released the track on soundcloud afew months ago :) Its called „The Realness“
2:30 - The ship just landed 😂
IMO extasy ID would be goated if we get the melodic synth back at the drop POOWWWW
2024 james hype invents breakbeat
🤔
The cheers for every gate change were hilarious 😂
That last track is your best yet. Acieed!
yeah we call it breakbeat, and this type of style was big in early 2000`s
