Simple. Informative. Original. Very good presentation. I wish you guys were there when I was a resident. Will surely recommend your channel to all the young orthopods..
i broke both my femurs in 2013 ( i have a video about it on my channel) . i've healed, but theres definitely lingering pains in the hips, but i think this video finally came me a term for it!!!! im so happy haha im gonna start doing lots of stretches for this.
Amazing 👏 So beautifully explained.... No doubt this is THE best FAI video on YT. Sadly the background music was very annoying..... I wish it was never there or maybe the volume should have been very low..
By far the best video on FAI, liked how you covered the whole course from anatomy to the surgical options. Subscribed! Could you also make a presentation on SI joint dysfunctions?
Gregory House sorry missed this 🤭 Surgery went well I didn’t even know I went under just woke up and all was done ✅ Post op recovery was ok - lots of pain for about 2 days but then it subsided. Key was to do mobility exercises to keep the hip joint moving. I got walking without crutches after about a week and started walks around two weeks after that. A month later I started walking briskly and shuffling to try get my fitness back and then two months post op doc said I can run 5Km every second day as I was recovering very quickly. I am able to run 10km every other day now but I prefer doing other sports for variety. I have a little cartilage damage so need to look after the hip for many years to come. I can run one marathon a year but for now I need to keep the running short and fast!
Surgical hip discloaction? Isn't that done ONLY when really necessary? Cuting the ligamentum capitis femoris and the belonging blood vessel, can or will, push the hip towards avascular necrosis. It is the opinion of some excellent physicians I talked with. Please comment.
