Sounds great. My daughter, who only plays for her cat, loves the bridge look. I realize you don't pay much attention to the nut, but your fretting hand was probably not operated on twice by age 4, nor have broken fingers, nor been run over over by a car. But you've found more than a few guitars for me. Thanks Cooper.
I hope Yairi guitars continue to fly under the radar. I like their exclusivity. I have a 1990 DY77 I’ve owned since new and it is a wonderful instrument. The action is as low as the first day out of its case. Exceptional trouble free quality and craftsmanship.
Wow. The big white top looks huge. Very pale virginal white. See through pick guard makes the white seem huge. The color grows on me when I hear it. I wonder how it will age? To me very bright sounding trebles and loud base. It seemed like it would ring for ever before Cooper touched the strings at the end of the song.
The problem with this maker is distribution. Very few shops carry this maker so trying them out is difficult. Also and this personal preference I don’t like clear pick guards. But they are beautiful in both sound and physical form
The only guitar maker in Japan is a guitar maker in Japan. In Japan, it is called Yairi gu itar, and is sold overseas under the name Alvarez Yaiiri. The only thing that should not be made is that they are made in Japan. You can see it by looking at the sound hole. The name of the predecessor CEO Kazuo Yairi and the made in Japan are written. Overseas, there are guitars similar to similar names, but Yairi is always made in Japan. And the factory is produced by about 30 craftsmen with custom lines. So many cannot be made. thanks🙇♂️from🇯🇵
It's like asking Mercedes Benz or BMW. Ideally, have both. If not possible, go try it for yourself and let your heart tell you. This also depends on the type of music you mainly or frequently play. The tones are different and are both fantastic.

I have never heard you play so well. You and that guitar are meant to be.
I got it on my bucket list.
Beautiful demonstration and playing as always, thank you Cooper and Alamo!

Beautiful sounding guitar. Every time I think about getting a martin or a gibson, I hear a Yairi and it talks me out of those thoughts.
Amazing
Great guitar; great playing!
Nice....mid and bass are especially nice
Looks beautiful. Sounds fabulous. I just wish my ex wife had both of those qualities. 😫
That was some super duper playing! 🎸

Stunning guitar demonstrated by a phenomenal guitarist! Martin/Taylor, you better do your homework.

I’m looking to buy Alvarez artist series AF60 model. Anyone have it and can comment on it?
can you compare furch vintage om and yairi fym70?
This or the Yamaha FG9R if the price were the same?
I’m curious as well

Do they have a guitar in the style of the M36 ?
how this compare to j45s?
Awesome guitar! Confused though… the DYM60HD is also ADI so why is it not DYM62HD?
the HD series are all Adirondack tops except the FYM66HD which is a mahogany top.
@ which is fine but then they should all technically be 62s if a 0 suffix denotes Sitka….FYM62, PYM62 etc
@ good explanation… thank you. All awesome guitars regardless of nomenclature 😀
These brands should be paying ol’ Coop a royalty fee for demoing their axes for that criminal playing!
