I visited a mosque several times, run by a Muslim man from Jenin who stood for "interfaith" .. but he was secretly Hamas, and using "interfaith peace" for political cover and protection from the FBI. I'm embarrassed that it took me over a year to take a step back and read the entire 1988 Hamas Charter, their statement of purpose, which is still in force despite having published a watered down "Lefty" charter in 2017. The founding purpose of the annihilation of Jews and Israel remains. Out of an abundance of suspicion, I turned to various online ex-muslims for honest answers. THE REASON the conflict is irresolvable without Palestinians defeat is the fight IS NOT over borders, it's over Holy Land granted to only Muslims for eternity because Umar invaded and conquered the region in 637. By military victory, an "Islamic Waqf" was created by Allah, a permanent eternal land inheritance.
