@@carlosrobertson826590% of LHWs are just fat middleweights or welter weights that just don’t have the discipline to maintain a decent cut and healthy lifestyle.
Hill vs either Volcov or Paplovic makes sense to me if he was to move up, but I don’t think he should move up yet, LHW is pretty thin as is tbh, especially if Jiri may be looking to move down to middleweight depending on the outcome of this next fight
Jamahal vs Tuivasa or Lewis. That would be a fun match up for both and a straight who’s gonna KO the other first. Good fight for Jamahal to test the waters at HW.
I think they should increase the weight limit for the light heavyweight... Middleweight is 84kg, LHW is 93kg and HW is 120kg. There's too big a difference between LHW's limit and HW. Many LHW guys currently cut to beat 93kg, it's an era in which bigger LHWs are showing up. I think if the weight limit for LHW were changed to 100kg, it'd be perfect. I mean, big guys in LHW who can make it, although with struggle, weight like JJ and Poatan are naturally like 105kg. But that's like the standard LHW now... Jiri Prochakza is a more natural 93kg, but his walk around weight is around 105kg while his natural weight whenever he's in camp and in the best shape nearing or pretty much 100kg, so he isn't much smaller either, he cuts weight still. Jan Blackowski is already more like Jon Jones and Alex Pereira too, his optimal weight being ~ 105 - 108 kg if I'm not mistaken, Dominick Reyes is more like Jiri Prochazka, perhaps a little heavier, like 100 ~ 102 kg. Khalil is lighter but he is still stocky, thick, and although less, cuts still for 93kg. He weighs like 97kg naturally I bet... So to him, cutting to 93 kg or bulking to 100kg would be the same. Ankalaev is like 102kg ~ 104kg... Like, most LHWs now have a ~100kg optimal weight, most being >= 100kg... It'd make sense to have LHW's limit as 100kg imo. Maybe they could move the middleweight to ~90kg, allowing more breathing room from 84kg, but I don't know, I'm not so familiar with middleweight's fighters like weights specifics. But yeah, I think making LHW at 100 would make sense... Because like you said, the difficulty in making 93kg is what makes many go to a weight class that has an upper limit of 120kg... So while fighters like Ankalaev, Jan, Jiri, Hill, Alex Pereira, Jon Jones could fight there with their optimal weight ranging from 100 to 106kg, if there are natural 114kg, 117 kg guys... That's a problem. Tom Aspinall is a ~118kg natural guy whose weight is pretty natural, he can move like Jones when he was in LHW, like Alex Pereira, Jiri --- in terms of speed, but with a weight that makes it way more devastating. Those guys could make a middle term and fight at 110kg more or less, ok, I think that'd be a good compromise, even more for JJ, Alex, Hill, Anakalaev who could make that weight without much problems, but they would lose somewhat of their explosiveness and fighting a Tom who would have their explosiveness if they didn't need an extra 5 ~ 7kg while Tom weighs still 10kg more, that's tough. And Tom is a problem because he moves like a quick LHW, like, he moves like Khalil Rountree, with a 118kg frame, has that heavyweight plus power, is used to that weight so his stamina is just good... And apparently has a very good ground game and very in depth jiu jitsu knowledge. That is rough. If he had that weight but like most HWs, couldn't move as a quick LHW and also had a less explored area, ok, but he's like a well rounded fighter with speed of a quick LHW, KO power of a HW, and a ground game that is not Chimaev's or Khabib's level, but challenging enough, let's say like Usman... IF Jon Jones were in top condition with a 120kg frame, if that were like his natural optimal weight, I think he would beat Tom... But also, if Jon Jones could gather all the technique and knowledge he has unmastered now and as 37 yo still move as if he were on his prime in athleticism while having a 120kg frame as very natural and optimal for him, same speed as JJ had in his 26 ~ 30 yo LHW... He'd beat Tom. But rn, it's tough. He's 37, had an injury, is getting acclimated to this larger body but as of 34 yo... Athletes can't take substances that may could be arguably taken since it helps in training recoveries, after all, a fighter wants to fight prepared and with no injuries, so some what they call PEDs could actually be helpful to minimize training risks actually... It's just tough to be a natural HW now.
The 205 division back then was like the 155 division today but more stacked. Jones, Shogun, Chael, Rampage, Rashad, Lyoto, Gus, Glover, DC, Little Nog, Davis, Hendo, Vitor and the GOAT Anderson dipping his toe in 205 every once in a while
Johnnie Walker and Thiago Santos are big guys. Jamahal beat both those guys. He has knock outs in his record. I don't think his power declines with a weight gain
Chael... can you do a video on the ins and outs of how you think Jon jones will game plan for a fight with Tom Aspinall and different scenarios that may occur in the matchup both bad and good. Maybe even a coaches perspective if you were Tom 's coach and all that you would do to prepare him for the biggest fight in Heavyweight history!
Going off all their primes -Shamrock ragdolls him -Tito ragdolls him -Couture ragdolls him -Vitor brutalizes him or subs him -Chuck Liddell would finish him quicker than Alex did -Rampage would make jamahal cry -Forest would probably win a decision -Rashad gets a finish with ground and pound -Lyoto would kick him to death -Shogun brutalizes him -Jon Jones 😂 that one would be hard to watch even if you don't like Hill -DC would eat him -Jan would probably knock him out -Prime Glover would have outstruck and out grappled hill, he could win the fight how ever he wanted. -Jiri is the only one idk about and well see that soon enough -Alex already merked him. Thats a list Jamahal is lucky to even be on by the way. Lhw champs I mean.
Jamahal vs anyone in the top 5 would probably be good. If not Tom, probably Cyril. It seems like Cyril is the guy that the UFC isn’t afraid to give a chance to for another title opportunity. And since Cyril is in the spot where he didn’t lose the fight but didn’t win, Jamahal Hill against him would be best. However since Cyril is a skilled kickboxer and Periera beat Hill who has a similar style so that could be met with a lot of pushback. I’d say Curtis Blaydes would be the best option besides Cyril because out of the guys in the top 5 he’s probably going to be considered the “least” big out of everyone, so it would have the least amount of friction.

In 2015, the UFC light heavyweight (205 lbs) division was highly competitive. Here are some of the top fighters from that year: 1. Jon Jones - Despite being stripped of his title in April 2015, he was still considered one of the best fighters in the division. 2. Daniel Cormier - He won the vacant title by defeating Anthony Johnson at UFC 187 in May 2015. 3. Anthony Johnson - Known for his knockout power, he was a top contender in the division. 4. Alexander Gustafsson - A former title challenger, he remained a top-ranked fighter. 5. Ryan Bader - He was on a winning streak and climbing the rankings. So, including Alex and Jamal in this era it would look like this if they were still in the picture for top 10: 1. Jon Jones - Despite being stripped of his title in April 2015, he was still considered one of the best fighters in the division. 2. Daniel Cormier - He won the vacant title by defeating Anthony Johnson at UFC 187 in May 2015. 3. Alex Pereira 4. Jamahal Hill 8. Jiří Procházka 9. Jan Błachowicz 10. Ryan Bader - He was on a winning streak and climbing the rankings.
So how do you recognize all of this without understanding that Jiri has never lost a fight in the UFC unless he is fighting Alex P. If Alex doesn’t enter the UFC Jiri owns LHW, yet here you have him at the bottom like some casual who knows how to copy paste 😂 I guess it’ll take him KOing hill for you to get it, although that’s not that big of an accomplishment.
Jiri has only lost to Pereira, but he's been KO'd consecutive bouts and he doesn't protect his chin. The blueprint is out there. I'm not saying Jiri won't win, but it's a matter of time until he gets his clock cleaned by someone else.
Now that I think about if we had the ranked heavyweights vs the ranked light heavyweights I’m willing to bet that the LHWs will win the majority of the time.

I say you could give Jamahal Pavlovic or even Volkov someone in the top 5 i would love to really see him vs gane tho. Love him or hate him he was a champion and can go 5 rounds so I dont see why not a Top 5 HW opponent excluding aspinal
Are there two fighters named Jamahal Hill in the UFC? The Jamahal I watch gets offended by the direction the wind is blowing. Jamahal is no. 1 on the list of fighters that needs a public relations manager. He tried the DIY way and couldn’t pull off the Heel role. Fight recommendation? If you are not going to handle his PR then put him in with Jones. One and done and we never hear from him again.

1. Jon Jones - Despite being stripped of his title in April 2015, he was still considered one of the best fighters in the division.
2. Daniel Cormier - He won the vacant title by defeating Anthony Johnson at UFC 187 in May 2015.
3. Alex Pereira
4. Anthony Johnson - Known for his knockout power, he was a top contender in the division.
5. Alexander Gustafsson - A former title challenger, he remained a top-ranked fighter.
6. Magomed Ankalaev
7. Jamahal Hill
8. Jiří Procházka
9. Jan Błachowicz
@@mitchellhedges711are you okay?
@@mitchellhedges711 Jiri was getting pieced up by Rakic 😭
Jiri has only lost to Pereira, but he's been KO'd consecutive bouts and he doesn't protect his chin. The blueprint is out there. I'm not saying Jiri won't win, but it's a matter of time until he gets his clock cleaned by someone else.
I didn't mean consecutive bouts. 2 of last 3.

...you don't know Jamal 🤣 he's stewing right this very moment.
Now that I think about if we had the ranked heavyweights vs the ranked light heavyweights I’m willing to bet that the LHWs will win the majority of the time.
I like Jamahal. He's a real one.
If he was real, he would’ve put them gloves on
@hudboys8120 He is. Against Jiri
I’m talking about when he tried to punk Alex
"Wont hurt his feelings' Lmao this is Jamahal Hill we talking about
Jamahals first fight at heavyweight should be Tai Tuivasa.
Chael you dealin w cte (post alex fight) jamahal hill. He is not rational. He be wanting to fight ya on sight lol. Jamahal just got punked the other day by Alex again.
Chael didn't say it, but he would be right if he did.
Oh boy, Jamahalls gonna have something to say about this😂
I wouldve liked to see Jamahal vs Jones. Felt like it could've been a passing of the torch. But now it seems jones is only doing 1 more fight and it's not gonna be Jamahal but that was my dream heavyweight matchup for him
i want to see hill vs ankalaev it would be so funny
I wanna anklaev vs jones for the comedy
Better question if it’s not Tom vs Jones then who’s next for John.
Tom vs John
Alex vs Magomed
Are the fights that need to happen, period.
Hear me out I know this is crazy but mcgregor vs topurio at 155 would be nuts. Especially if it were a prime mcgregor pre leg break. We need a what if video on that. Conor might even let Chandler hold his jocks in the corner of that fight
You win some, you win some.
I'd have more "pep in my step" if I was undefeated, undisputed and never lost a round.
Honestly, I think if Jamahal was active, he could maintain a higher rank at heavyweight than at LHW.
He would be ranked in the top 5, not that jamahal is good or bad, heavyweights are not known for skill.
What about a Hill vs Pereira rematch but at Heavyweight?
One fight i wish could and should of happened, prime Robbie Lawler vs Jorge Masvidal
New Jocko Ball Sweat, Jocko nail clippers and Jocko Quickie w/ Creatine
Jockos jock juice worx for me!!!!!
RIP Rumble Johnson 😢
Alex has such power and dominance over LHW that anyone he knocks out thinks about moving weight classes after lmao
I mean for his first fight at heavyweight are we talking? Because if that’s what we’re about, I wouldn’t go higher than 5 to 10 in the rankings for Jamal.IMO feeler fight see what he’s got and go from there I just don’t know with him. Does he lose mobilization going up I mean, obviously he does but how much is the question? Amongst other things honestly….
Man, I worded that so weird. I’m sorry in advance.
Not a single truth was told
Jamal vs gane would get the ball rolling. Winner would be a good placeholder for Tom while he's waiting for John to stop lollygagging
Tell Jamahal to stop dodging me
Red onions belong in Jocko fuel
I say you could give Jamahal Pavlovic or even Volkov someone in the top 5 i would love to really see him vs gane tho. Love him or hate him he was a champion and can go 5 rounds so I dont see why not a Top 5 HW opponent excluding aspinal
jamal vs dc 😹
Are there two fighters named Jamahal Hill in the UFC? The Jamahal I watch gets offended by the direction the wind is blowing. Jamahal is no. 1 on the list of fighters that needs a public relations manager. He tried the DIY way and couldn’t pull off the Heel role. Fight recommendation? If you are not going to handle his PR then put him in with Jones. One and done and we never hear from him again.
