Today I pray this rosary for my 81-year old father who's having surgery on Monday, and my 52-year-old brother, an alcoholic, whose life keeps getting worse. He wants to die everyday. Because of that, I also dedicate this for my mother who's the one who takes care of both of them and has to worry the most about my dad, and my brother. And, I never forget the conversion of sinners, and the souls in purgatory. They're the ones who need the most prayers, especially the Rosary Thank you, Jesus and your blessed, immaculate Mother, Mary, for all the graces you shower upon us, and for the Cross You've lovingly placed on our shoulders as an opportunity for us to follow in Your footsteps, which often comes with pain we can offer up to the souls in purgatory. 🙏📿✝️

Great thanks for the Holy Rosary with Bible verses . I really enjoy saying my Holy Rosary with you. Satan for many years blocked me. I was brought up a Catholic, but we did not say the Holy Rosary as a family. I repent of this. My dear friend Joan, a Catholic school teacher died sadly and I was so impressed by her devotion to Jesus as Divine Mercy and her daily Mass attendance. Out of respect to her memory I overcame the negativity and now daily I pray the Rosary. I offer it for Joan's soul, other Catholic souls, my 92 year old Catholic Mum, for the Holy Souls and forgotten souls who have no one to pray for them. Just think about the vast number of generations who have passed away!
I pray for conversions and vocations to the priesthood and the religious life. I pray for my husband to convert. I pray for my son and daughter to return to the Catholic Church. I pray for world peace and for forgiveness and reconciliation among all who are in disharmony with God's Will. I pray to endure in my own walk with Jesus and to keep welcoming Him into every area of my life. I wear the spiritual armour for protection from the evil influences on Earth.

When I was young they had a special day honoring the Holy Mother. The statue had a floral ring on the statue's head and someone was selected to "crown" the Blessed Mary. Now I am a grandmother and would like to see women from different generations participate in this celebration as a family honor.
This is what is known as a "May Procession", where a group of people (usually children) march together to a statue of the Blessed Mother and select a person to place a wreath of flowers (the "crown") on the head of the statue. May Processions are still held in some places today, although they do not seem to be as common as they once were in the past. The month of May honors mothers (it is the month when Mother's Day is celebrated), so May Processions take place at some point during the month to honor Mary as the mother of Christ.
