Basically the moment you input the shoryuken command (use the light punch version) you want to hit m.punch and m.kick (which begins charging a focus attack) but rather than holding them down to charge, just tap them, then double tap forward or backwards to do a dash cancel. If you did the commands correctly you should start the shoryuken, but then cancel it sending your opponent into the air but keeping you on the ground. It's the bread and butter Ryu move which ensures your ultra will connect.
@SeventhSun aint no fanboy. tell me who else has dominated street fighter scene more than daigo? and who is the most famous competitive starcraft player? these are the kind of players where people will cheer simply on what they have riding on their past accomplishments. its the same with the G.O.A.T of any sport or game...
Hah yeah, everyone was pretty nuts at this event. It was a lot of fun, but yeah I forgot we should have been totally silent during one of the most epic matches ever. lol

Daigo isnt past hes prime. He is dominating at the moment in Japan. And He will c ome back strong. Top 5 at both last evos, isnt bad. And close calls eliminated him. Close calls have made him win before. Its not over.

You have no idea what a tournament is like. Every tournament is like this, it's like complaining that the crowd at a basketball game is distracting the players.
