Vintage Nelson

Born and raised in Tobago , Robert Nelson left for the US on a scholarship . As a member of the US military he began exploring his talent as an Entertainer & Calypsonian and eventually befriends Sparrow and the Mighty Duke who helped shaped his musical career .

Legend in Calypso!!!! Along the likes of Lord Kitchener (1922-2000), Lord Shorty (1941-2000), Pretender (1917-2002), Singing Francine, Singing Sandra- Sandra Des Vignes. Classic tunes La La Jam Back (1975), Disco Daddy (1980), Mih Lover (1983)- the ultimate love ❤️ song in Kaiso. Nelson is around 90- treasure this man people!!!!!
