Hi, thanks for the in-depth review! I do have a couple of extra questions if you can answer them.
Context: I’m not alone in this but my ears are finicky little things. Silicone-tip earbuds don’t just irritate me on a cat-like level (irrational, sensory, possessed. If you know cats you know what I mean) but refuse to stay in, so for the last several years I’ve been loyal to two pairs of AirPods (second Gen both of them I think). Their shape is legitimately the most comfortable for me, and since I’ve been Apple all my life, it made sense.
However, I’m going to eventually make the shift to Android I think, and at that point the stupid price of AirPods as my current pair are close to retiring is something I’d like to avoid. These seem like an amazing alternative that I can get in-store here in Australia (and a good sign, they were out of stock last I checked, employee said very popular).
Also, I’m a borderline midget as a 20-yr old female less than 150cm (and 5ft) tall, and my ears are predictably, very small.
With this in mind, if you have access to any of the first or second Gen AirPods at all, how is the fit of the LiveFlex compared to the AirPods? I worry that while these look very similar shape-wise (what I’m looking at in an alternative first and foremost) and probably more comfortable (can’t tell quite but maybe a softer plastic, there may even be a rubber-like inner piece, than the AirPods’ TITANIUM STEELY CHILDPROOF PLASTIC WITH GLOSS. Why do they hate comfort). Is there a noticeable size difference? I worry if it’s just even a millimetre bigger it’ll be so big it’ll be uncomfortable.
The other question I have is a relatively minor one, does the find my device feature work when the buds are still IN their case? Is the case itself traceable? …I ask bc, embarrassingly, I started this whole endeavour last week bc I couldn’t find my AirPods who were in their case, perfectly charged and happy, NICE AND SNUG, AND COMPLETELY SILENT, even when I was standing less than a metre away with the locater. It just doesn’t play any sound from them if they’re in the case, so it’s a small ask, but I think a reasonable one.

Well, Sadly I'm not familiar with such issues to that extent, I'm also not tall and my girlfreind also less than 150cm but in her case she doesn't seem to have problems with any earbuds so far, even those with silicon. For me, I tried once the apple airpods, I think the first ones, I think they are very similar to the JBL Live Flex but I can't be sure at all honestly...
I would recommend actually trying maybe buy a fake pair from Aliexpress, not for use, only to check the fit as the real ones are expensive and most likely you can't try them in store lol.
sadly when they are inside the case they are not "working" so bluetooth tracking can't work.
how does this feel in woman's ear? I'm afraid it will fall out or not be comfortable. I've bought the jbl live pro 2, and it hurts my ear after a while using it
The ones you bought have silicon tips, personally I hate those and that's why I got the Live Flex. I'd say they are a standard size in the ear like some airpods (the ones without silicon)
Same problem. They don't fit perfectly so after a while they start hurt my ears. What a pity.
I know this video is about the Live Flex, but I like your orange phone case. What kind is it? Have you done any reviews for cases?
Actually it's not an orange case, it's a transparent one, I used a skin on my phone that looks like orange carbon fiber.

how the bass compared to airpods 3
I didn't use the airpods, but the JBL Live Flex don't have a very strong bass though it can be adjusted via EQ somewhat.
Are they bigger then the Tune Flex?
At least according to the looks they seem to be a similar size, I don't own the Tune Flex but I think my friend does, I will try to check with him next week
i’ve found that i get really bad latency issues with videos when i don’t have video mode active. even then i can still notice a slight delay, but enough that it’s bothersome.
For some reason in my case Latency wasn't an issue so far in any mode...
i got these today and the latency sucks. I'm taking them back to the store
@@jazz5926 I would first try to play with the app settings, it might be one of the settings there that might improve somewhat audio quality for certain things but increase latency
Yes adjusted the settings no luck. Took them back to the store, exchanged them for another pair in case they were faulty. Same issue. Returned second pair and got my money back. If anyone reads this and intends to use these to watch videos on phone, tablet or pc, buy something else. These are no good for that purpose.

What phone did you use with them?
Since airpods gen1 i have been looking for wireless buds with similar fit (which are perfect for me). Would you have any idea if these would be comparable?
Sadly ear comfort is different from 1 person to another, I think those are pretty similar but my only experience with the airpods (I think gen 1) was long time ago.
My kids have airpods 2nd gen and these ffit very similarly.

ANC is actually .. absent. No difference between on/off...
It's not as good as all ear covered headphones, but still reduces noise pretty well. it does depend on how well they seal your ears though

there are 3 different types of flexes, the vibe, tune, and live. I just ordered the live, but I've heard the difference is drastic. could just be good marketing
