em no because it would only be adapted if she had said “ i adapted the way i talk” as in to change and what not but in terms of the fact she said “i adopted the way he talks” if adopted were changed for adapted then the sentence would have different meaning
As in she has changed the way in which Andrew speaks

Therefore in order to use adapted the sentence would have to be changed to something along the lines of i have adapted the way (I) talk *not the way andrew talks*
