He's strong enough to give him a little resistance when Green is trying to post up and facilitate. He will either get a steal or get Draymond in foul trouble. *Bogut and Gasol will fight over rebounds.
question for coach...pascal's mid-range and 3's shooting percentage wasnt that bad as far as i know (and maybe im wrong, and thats the answer to the question, but if im right and his %ages werent bad...) i saw so many times thruout the series, that lopez or other defenders would give him lots of space when he recieves the ball at the top of the arc or just inside it (like at 2:33), sooo...why wasnt he taking those shots ?!?
He’s really inconsistent. But he’s so talented he had stretches where he was great in each game, but stretches where he was all sorts of yikes too. He just needs more experience and polish
@@bballbreakdown ok then. thnx. btw...who u rooting for in the finals ?? and who do u think will win it ?? despite all the odds and american bball pundits picking dubs as heavy favorites (as they did the sixers and bucks, lolll, so its of no consequence, the american bball prejudice being what it is....) and forgive this analysis if its too obvious but, i think if the raps play lock-down defense consistently in the finals (as they did for many stretches thruout the playoffs), play with confidence in the bright lights of the finals, limit the stupid untimely turnovers, hit their open shots at decent to high percentage, protect the defensive glass,... they'll be champs for the 1st time. (the kd element is a huge thing though too.) anyhoo... exciting times to be a raptors fan. special season.
Good job :) My thoughts exactly. I'm wondering how far will the second Raptors defender be on the pick and roll as they can't afford too much space, but also can't be to close, because Draymond will cut and once stopped by the help defender - he'll pass for an open 3. At that point, the best defensive rotation team in NBA this playoffs (IMHO ofc) should shine. Also note, that Raptors don't give up good 2-point shots for open 3-point ones (I'm talking about Kawhi), but Warriors do. IMHO the Raptors should change that in order to boost the amount of 3 point shots taken as otherwise, they won't be able to keep up with the points.

Bogut: Gasol
*Curry is fast but Vanvleet is a good defender who can stay with him pretty good; plus you rather him waste his energy chasing Curry than Kawhi do that because Kawhi is the primary scorer for the Raptors.
*Thompson is a prolific shooter but he doesn't move without the ball as much as Curry so Leonard can stop a guy just as good just expounding less energy.
*Iguodala is a very athletic guy who facilitates and gets easy dunks so the 6'10 Siakam will use his length to contest dunks and block the passing vision of the 6'6 guard.
*Green is a big guy but Lowry is a bulldog as a small guard. He's strong enough to give him a little resistance when Green is trying to post up and facilitate. He will either get a steal or get Draymond in foul trouble.
*Bogut and Gasol will fight over rebounds.
I'm late coach. Question: How do you see Bucks vs. Raps this time around? Thank you
Great objective analysis again. Most commentators or analysts just can’t compare.
Thx so much!! 👍🏀
been waiting for this..
thanks coach as always..
🏀🏀
🙏🙏
I have been waiting for this!!
another great vid coach, hope you had a good four day weekend!
Thanks and yes! Went to Hearst Castle with the family and it was great
BBALLBREAKDOWN just added to my list of summer vacation spots lmao
My bracket had rockets vs bucks in the finals.
Can you hear me shaking my head?
question for coach...pascal's mid-range and 3's shooting percentage wasnt that bad as far as i know (and maybe im wrong, and thats the answer to the question, but if im right and his %ages werent bad...) i saw so many times thruout the series, that lopez or other defenders would give him lots of space when he recieves the ball at the top of the arc or just inside it (like at 2:33), sooo...why wasnt he taking those shots ?!?
(the kd element is a huge thing though too.)
anyhoo...
exciting times to be a raptors fan. special season.
TOR MIL was a great display of drive and kick with the most unorthodox and lots of poor passing to parameter shooters.
7:15 where was this defense during the all star game
Was waiting for this video all day long coach
👍🏀💪
1:44 I'm sorry but that pass by lowry was spectacular
been waiting for this one!!!
I'm a die hart Raptor fan since 2004 this finals make me happy
