Right? I just couldn't play anymore after WOTLK. I started playing 4 days after Burning Crusade came out. Blizzard Got to greedy and starting make their game 8 year old friendly. I watched at the Crushing blows went away and eventually all of the Stat's other then 4. I watched the talent tree's drop to 10 points vs over 60 points. I love the game. But wow is in the past. It will never be the game i used to play.
I have to say I find it truly amazing that there are players who have never heard of hobbs before (obviously not everyone played tbc) But he was the reason I made my paladin in tbc for this exact video coz I want to make some gold for flying glad to see people finding some golden content from back then
We used this method, too. Only the pally would maintain aggro solely through heals. No ret aura, no consecration. The lowbies - one of which had to be mage, would get first hit on all the mobs through aoe (grenades if you weren't an aoe class/level), then pally would switch on ret aura, cast consecration while the lowbies bombed. Just before the mobs died he'd leave the group, and mobs would die before they reach the group due to blizzard slow. Full exp for lowbs. The pally would either be a guild member or get paid for his work.

Me and my buddy were talking about you and thrilled to find your huge Playlist... gonna be falling asleep to this for a while! I watched you as a teenager... I'm 28 now and still remember you. Thanks for an awesome childhood brother
I feel so old...
7 years passed again
I remember when this video was new... 15 year old me was inspired haha, aaaah nothing was like WoW in its prime
Thanks for watching for so long
The video that started it all! My brother and I started playing the game in 2008 because of this video. I'm still going strong! Thanks Hobbs, enjoy your new Hearthstone content greatly as well
You are an inspiration so many years later Hobbs, need to rewatch your videos to prepare for Classic :D
When i saw this video i was 16 years old... Now im 29.
I was 14 and I'm about to turn 27 :(
Life
tick tockl
I literally just had a weird brain fart and your name popped into my head. So I searched it and bam nostalgia overdose.
Thank you for watching for so long! Glad you enjoyed the old videos
I feel really old right now also I watched that video in 2007 omg!
man, i can relate with that
7 years ago ,omg, how time passed
See you in classic, maybe!
Man the nostalgia is real! Watched this video when it first came out 7 years ago when I started playing wow. Completely forgot about it until I stumbled onto your channel again about 30 min ago. Re-subbed, glad to see you're still around and making videos.
Thank you and welcome back
If this guy actually knew how much these videos have meant to me. Sometimes being able to revisit a time when things were more simple is the only thing that soothes the soul. Thank you friend
All this time, and I nearly forgot that there used to be no AOE looting. Easily one of the best things for convenience added to the game.
Bring me back.
And now he is Legend.
I remember this video and many others from back when i started playing, helped get me hooked! Thanks for all the great videos and good memories!
You were my inspiration when I was just starting WoW. I thought it was so cool soloing dungeons and carrying people through content. I've spent most of my time in modern WoW running old content, can't be bothered actually playing the game.
Watching again in 2019 hype!
So Who's Ready For Legacy Hobbs Pulling?
In the days where that small amount of damage from the shield make a big difference.
shield dmg????
TheSoprah newb
I remember this video, this video was one of the reasons i started to play WoW!
I had no idea that this was actually your clip Hobbs! You're the best, keep it up!
i remember watching this video when i was a kid, came back for nostalgia and was pleasantly surprised that you still make videos!
Holy shit i watched this for the first time 11 years ago!
Funny I just read my comment on here that posted 11 years ago as well..had only been playing about a year at that time.
It will never be the game i used to play.
found this vid from ur talk with crendor!
Thank you, hope you enjoyed
I have to say I find it truly amazing that there are players who have never heard of hobbs before (obviously not everyone played tbc)
But he was the reason I made my paladin in tbc for this exact video coz I want to make some gold for flying
glad to see people finding some golden content from back then
We used this method, too.
Not only this video is from early days of wow
This is from the EARLY DAYS OF UA-cam....
Btw, old wow players out there , do you remember Thottbot? Or Cosmos addon?
The fact that you need to raise your weapon skill, to equip it?
Do you remember hunters kiting on UBRS dungeon?
Yeah....old wow, old youtube, old you!
Yup old Hunter here, good times. Thottbot, ahh yes, the days before wowhead :-D
Yup I remember thotbot man . And wow matrix and Kara and mgr lair . TBC . Grinding to equip weapons lol :-)
Using the actual gear not transmog and looting the corpses individually. Those were the days man.
Yes and not everyone had access to raid gear, you had to really earn the cool stuff
