Am I the only one that immediately cried within 5 seconds of this, lol. Its been 13 years and wowhobbs still is the best thing in my childhood. Been a sub since I was 12 and this video made me get on wow and I met amazing people who helped me through a very abusive upbringing and I feel like I owe Hobbs everything honestly. If I never got into wow I'd probably end up like my siblings and friends, dead, in jail or drug addicted. Instead I made lifelong friends i still speak to today! And I use to pretend I was deaf so I didn't have to talk and I wouldn't talk until my guild was like " you're the main tank. You have to get a mic " and because my cerebral palsy I didn't want to, but they were so awesome I eventually did and realized not everyone says they can't understand u and call u names lol it was very life changing and I owe it to hobbs, south park and my friend Colby

I probably come back to watch this every year or so and the nostalgia is always the same, many good memories of being a 10 year old kid looking up to this and then leveling a prot pally to do the same thing.... Happy days

    Oh the memories...
In Vanilla I could never decide on what class to play and I kept re-rolling before ever reaching 60.
Then TBC was released. This time I stayed committed to leveling my rogue and got him to 68 before I discovered your videos and well... You can probably guess what happened next. However, your videos kept me inspired and I eventually reached 70 on my paladin!
TBC Classic is around the corner. I'd love to see a recreation of this video! Preferably at level 63 :p
Thank you for all the good memories!

Right? I just couldn't play anymore after WOTLK. I started playing 4 days after Burning Crusade came out. Blizzard Got to greedy and starting make their game 8 year old friendly. I watched at the Crushing blows went away and eventually all of the Stat's other then 4. I watched the talent tree's drop to 10 points vs over 60 points. I love the game. But wow is in the past. It will never be the game i used to play.

I have to say I find it truly amazing that there are players who have never heard of hobbs before (obviously not everyone played tbc)
But he was the reason I made my paladin in tbc for this exact video coz I want to make some gold for flying
glad to see people finding some golden content from back then

  • @V0r4xiz

We used this method, too. Only the pally would maintain aggro solely through heals. No ret aura, no consecration. The lowbies - one of which had to be mage, would get first hit on all the mobs through aoe (grenades if you weren't an aoe class/level), then pally would switch on ret aura, cast consecration while the lowbies bombed. Just before the mobs died he'd leave the group, and mobs would die before they reach the group due to blizzard slow. Full exp for lowbs. The pally would either be a guild member or get paid for his work.
