Mine came with a separate small bag with a couple of tension clips, it’s installed (less than 10 minutes) but I have no idea what those clips are for--BTW you scratched the side wall of your tail gate
Just put mine on yesterday!
I wasn’t even able to take the first bolt out. No matter what tools I used.
Not sure it matters, but I think the shock is installed upside down in the video

I think that gig will fail automatically because I don’t think I look like him at all. lol.
This doesn’t interfere with the multi position functionality of the tailgate correct?
I haven't use the multi position tailgate options but I think it won't interfere at all. But don't quote me on it.
What did you finally do to get it to tighten?? I cannot get mine to tighten up. Driving me crazy
You may need to hit it with the hammer so it can get in tight.
What brand is your tonneau cover?
Is the one fords sells on his website, is the Truxedo brand.
The reason it goes down fast at first is because you installed it backwards. Flip it the other way so the fat end is up and skinny end down...

I have heard of some people that got their tailgate stolen in the past. Like Raptors and Super Duty.
