I have the XSE and I love the sporty look. I've even had people stop me to tell me they hate the old person look of the Highlander but they would definitely drive mine. 😊
Wow, haven't bought a new car in about 10 years. Didn't know how crazy expensive they have gotten. I bought my 2013 new and cost me about 35k. Now they r hitting well over 50k. Hopefully my highlander last me another 15 years. Great review. Nice to see the differences.
@Paul knock on wood. No leaks at this time and hopefully not for a long time. This car has been great to us. I do all it's routine maintenance, it gets fresh oil every 5k miles and always use synthetic. Maybe that's helping? Who knows. But so far so good. Do you have a highlander?
If you have limited movement the most important consideration is going to be how far is the passenger door allowed to swing open. Maybe surprising young and or small people but a big wide open door there allows two people to help you get in and out. Think aheadl
I just bought the 2024 Limited gas with turbo. Traded in my leased ultra low mileage 2021 Venza Limited. It only has a regular sunroof that opens. Car is excellent. Drives like a v6. Got $ 4000 above residual value. Disappointments. The Venza Limited had more features. I thought that by getting the Limited, the features would be identical. Venza had tremendous camera features. 360. Front camera show you everything when parking. Such as the curb and the lines. The Highlander Limited does not. That feature is now reserved for the😂Platinum. A real bummer as that was my favorite feature. List $ 51, 400. Paid $ 47,400. Didn’t expect $ 4000 off. They had dozens of RAV 4 gas models, no hybrid models. Only one other Highlander, a Platinum gas model. Between the $ 4000 off MSRP, and 4,000 equity on my lease turn it, that reduced my purchase price by $ 8,000. The hybrid Venza gave me 40 mpg in normal weather, but only 25 mpg when the temperature dropped below 32 degrees. Not recommended for cold northern climates. I live in Southern Ohio. Hybrids make no sense for low mileage drivers. May need a new hybrid battery in less than 50,000 miles.
We just bought the XSE, silver, and Black wheels. (sunroof) I like everything about it. I hope I didn't overpay for it. I would have liked to see some changes; the side mirror should be automatically foldable.
I know. Just so much to cover and we are trying to keep videos not so long. But thank you for the heads up! I really appreciate the constructive criticism
They both look out of days and or incomplete design, imo. And this things are hold me back to order one. Taking into account that in Australia this Kluger grande cost 85k which is a lots for a 'yesterday' design car.
Nice vehicle. I like the limited front end better. Panoramic sunroof is a must, but so is a V6 engine . The stitching on the seats may become an issue.
I wouldn't necessarily say panoramic roof is a must considering all the defects and problems sunroof brings to the car in the future. Not sure it's worth the headaches.
Iam waited for the Toyota Limited, for the last 3 months, I don't know why is taken so long they said its about a electronic chip,I will check in a month or so.
I just want the one with captain seats and panoramic sunroof I have the XLE beige interior with captain seats I just want the panoramic sunroof maybe the grand highlander coming out for 2024 will bring it
I think the Limited edition looks cleaner, and less in your face than the XLE. I cannot stand the front-end of Lexus vehicles and the XLE reminds me of a Lexus. The Limited is a cleaner, more of a classic look.
Re: navigation requiring subscription; - DOES ANYONE KNOW if the phone navigator will [seamlessly] integrate with the car? (And/or if it’s a pain to use the cell navigator)?
Yes free for 3 years then you pay for 2 year subcription if you want the updates if not it still works even if you don't pay it just won't update to newest software. Just bought one XSE on monday awesome SUV.
We don’t have a video on the hybrid. But we will try to get to one. But there are differences in a list of things such as the exterior elements like rims and bumpers and things of that sort. Also the interior too. We will try to get to a video.
Guys try getting a Toyota sequoia it’s cool it has eight seats and once I had a Toyota Highlander and the backseats weren’t comfortable so we changed it now we have a Toyota sequoia😊😊😊😅
The XSE looks like a ride a guy who wanted a real performance SUV would be driving. Maybe throw some TRD stickers on it, so the X5M drivers can get an even better chuckle when you pull up next to them at the light.
Hey bro. Good video. But could you please change the location of filming your vides due to the light i was not able to see the car and the details properly. Keep going

Toyota will last almost a life time lol
@Vagabond Builds that's what I am hoping for. My highlander has 130k miles and still running good. I would hate to have to buy a new car right now.

Missed the interior of the XSE, was looking forward to that
Totally sorry about that.. we kind of realized that we messed up there with not getting some pics on it.
I think they should have kept the old V6 engine, I am not a fan of the turbo engines. Thank you for the showcase.
I’m totally with you on that comment. But we apparently are going more eco friendly.
