I really don’t like dice games, but you wizards at IV Studio have cooked up something special with this one! I can actually see myself playing this with the crew. Congratulations!
I know there's already a MR dice tray in the campaign, but where did you get the one used in the video? I want to find something simple and nice like this that doesn't fold up and down with poppers. Did you guys ever consider making a hexagonal one like in the video, but having the Moonrollers symbol on the bottom? Would have been so good.
Incredibly excited for this. Dice Allocation is one of my favorite genre, Moonrakers is one of my favorite universe. I'm a huge solo player, but like Austin said in the Q&A, it feels totally possible to just play multiple seats. I'll try it on TTS !
Really looking forward to this game! I think my non-gaming in-laws will like it too! I played Moonraker two Sundays ago and have another play session scheduled for Dec 6th. So it has me even more excited.
@@austinharrison2463 Man, I was supposed to go! But had a work conflict that I didn't realize lol.. I do have tix to TN Game Days in the spring and was hoping to link up in Nash sometime earlier in '24 maybe? 👀🤝
Hello. Both Moonrollers and Moonrakers are great games. I am looking forward to your another game! I'd like to ask one thing: do the red squares on prestige board (values 5, 10, 15 etc.) mean something? I haven't noticed anywhere.
When I first heard about this one I wasn't totally convinced but having watched the game in action I'm onboard! I hear luxury dice are a possible option, can I also put a vote in for a dice tray!
Yeah, I've discovered its most similar to Age of War. I hadn't played/known the rules to Age of War when designing this, but I'm not gonna complain that its similar to a Knizia game :)
I've been in the market for a dice rolling game (just for the variety of game) and been mulling over some options.... and then you guys do this! I guess my problem is solved :))))) Instaback!
Ironically, I think it’s actually the opposite. This is a totally different game from Moonrakers. But instead of coming up with a new IP/world/theme to paint on top of the mechanics, they just decided to use pre-existing IP and characters.
They haven't done a push your luck game before? Also nothing "new" was ever good. Moonrakers was a great game because it built upon the lessons learned form past deck building a negotiation games. Everyone is so deluded into thinking Dominion "invented" deckbuilding because everything before it was a flop. They weren't magically good because it was a new idea and now those are almost entirely lost to time. I want good quality games. Not shitty new "ideas" for the sake of new ideas.
I love how you guys keep coming up with totally awesome ways to take my money. Well done, IV Games.
THANKS!
A game of Moonrollers looks like a nice warm-up before playing Moonrakers.
It's also a great cooldown, a nice Moonrakers sandwich.

Hooray!
"We trusted you at basic math, was that a mistake?" Brilliant line. Can't wait to play this A LOT.
Lol. Whoops.

Can’t wait to hear how it goes Quinn!
Having seen it played, I am now really excited for this game! You guys do great work
Thank you!
I already backed this. Just stopping in to say how on theme the moonwatches are. ❤

Hooray! So glad you are enjoying it.

wonderful - hope it's easy to travel with, though knowing some the way I do ... totally expect it as a good small in the backpack game.
Small box! Should travel great!
yep, looks super fun! Backed in a heartbeat

So many busts! Hilarious!
Anytime Zac is playing... smh.
Zac and the hazard tokens go through a wormhole at 00:30
This looks great! Looking forward to the campaign!
what dice tray are you using?
Dicetray name pls ❤😊
Seems like a blast. Can't wait to get my hands on it!
Thanks Adurag! We will have it at TNGD!
Cant wait to have it physically in hand! This is awesome.
Thank you!

Vote has been heard!
Oh yes, this one looks like a blast!
Is the starting crew member chosen by the player or drawn at random?
Great game :)
why they add dices on each roll?
One of the dice sides adds dice
So it's "Age of War"/ "Elder Sign" meets "Chicken!" meets Moonrakers?
Interesting.

Just watched this and the Q&A. Insta back on the 28th. Really hope for some bling bling 😎
Thank you so much!

Problem solved! Thanks for the support.
The game looks dope. I'll be backing.
Thanks so much!
So excited for this
Yayaya!
This looks so fun!!!😊
Thanks Silver!
Seems neat
Designer is handsome too.
What????
Poor Zack. He’s really bad at this game
Par for the course. 😂
Yeaaaaaaaaa
They’ve already hit their phase where they can’t help but iterate on the same game over and over again as a cash grab instead of making something new.
Different game! Same universe :)
