Covaxin will become available now in India as they've finally cleared the third report and with excellent efficacy results plus minimal side effects. Now the company needs to ramp up its production to supply across India. I'm glad I don't have to take my shots as yet.

Over here you're dealing with healthy individuals thus making it more important for checks. A botched-up vaccine if there's a remote chance will hurt collective vaccine confidence, a better scrutiny is a win-win for everyone.
@TheKiiran22 not really AZ vaccine made their trials public, published them in the lancet, and applied for approval. Each vaccine has to go through that full cycle before it can be pumped up. The clotting issues that are being quoted now are hocus and holds no ground we have more direct deaths from Pfizer than AZ ones. As far as Indian vaccines are concerned no one's putting a shade on them it is the drug regulators' decision to say no to political pressure and let this be scrutinized just like the western ones. This is the same reason even Chinese vaccine facing flak and now they have to administer 3 shots instead of 2 because of the efficacy problem. This dicey approach is more dangerous and sets a dangerous precedent for future drug approvals.

Criminal political leaders
KaMal the death count percentage is not what determines a pandemic. It is the transmission rate and amount of people that caught the virus.
Their attitude is the benefits outweigh the risks, so in a very scientific way, it's jab & hope, they can shove it.
It's not like that at all, the blood clot claim is unfounded. There is no evidence to suggest the vaccine increases the risk of blood clots, if anything evidence suggests the complete opposite.
FYI Same rule applies to all vaccines &medicines produced to date.. 👍

@Evidence Based Health People need to have a choice in the matter. I'm a healthy 33 year old, the risk reward doesn't make sense for me. For my parents and others in the 65+ category, the equation changes.
Selfishly i want to get back to normal life, and if we can't drastically reduce the hospitalizations and deaths, its a necessary risk. Just don't force people to take it.
So if they are that good ...why hasn't the FDA approved all these vaccines?

Persistent and unusual headaches is one of the signs. I don't know about vertigo but I would recommend for your mum to see a doctor to get checked out just in case. I wouldn't wait to see a doctor because if they catch it early you can get treatment for it. Best of luck! I don't trust the vaccine. Please let your mum see a doctor to get checked. There's a lot of stories about blood clots in the brain. I would go to the doctor as soon as possible just to be safe. Also breathlessness is another sign. Abdominal pain is another sign.

I am 61 years old I went out govt health center in Bengaluru to get my self vaccinated but found that the health authorities are injecting or vaccinating covi shield & I backtracked as I am type 2 diabetic since my elderly neighbors had developed some side effects like fever & body joint pains & still not recovered from it this morning news paper had reported that an elderly lady who died with one hour of vacation of Covi shield vaccine in South Bengaluru, I better wait to get vaccinated with Covaxin rather than having Covi shield along with my wife & son 😎

First there is all the precautions to contain the epidemic and then the pandemic.

Other vaccines have had people reporting problems after taking the vaccine but astra zenecca is singled out by EU, is it because it belongs to UK?

@@simonh6371 Covid is the global cure for seasonal flu but there are still side-effects - the elderly and vulnerable ie.smokers, excessive drinkers and poor lifestyles are at higher risk of illness due to having weaker immune systems.
The real cure is healthy eating, getting out in sunshine for vitamin D, moderate exercise and everything that the government doesn't advise ie. lockdowns. Funny the government advice never cautioned against smoking and didn't ban cigarettes or tobacco sales - just keep promoting the unlicensed vaccines.

If it was a bacterial infection it was not the vaccine it doesn’t have the virus nor a bacteria unless when they applied they didn’t follow the hygiene procedures which I doubt as it was the president

Well, that is a load of baloney. In the UK the 15 million doses have only been used only on the over 65 and those with co-morbidity so far, and it has been shown to be safe and very effective. The UK's infection rate which was one of the worlds highest until very recently is dropping very rapidly as a result despite the UK government's abject mismanagement of lockdowns, quarantines, and track and trace.

Thank you Kumari. Very interesting report. I think it will be highly unlikely if any of the vaccine makers ever admit to there being a connection between their vaccine and any adverse side effects. I just don't see that happening. I am glad to know that the numbers of cases with problems are very rare. I am still reluctant to get the vaccine currently. My sister developed a blood clot in a very unusual location in her abdomen within days of getting her shot. She spent four days in the hospital and had numerous tests that all came up negative. She had no previous medical conditions that were related. Her doctor is looking at the vaccine as the possible cause. I do not know which vaccine she received.

I have been educated enough to understand exactly how the whole live virus' "spike" protein can and does cause blood clots ... the mRNA vaccines do cause the body to manufacture the "spike" protein of the virus but Î do not know if these "spike proteins only" will act the same way on the body as they do when they are a part of the whole live virus ... I truly hope not ...
From what I heard on astraZeneca, the problem is not from mRNA or the S protein of Corona. It's from the virus that delivers the mRNA to the cell, it's spike can attach to blood cells that form cloth & cause the cloth formation. It does not use killed corona virus, it is still mRNA vacvine. Btw, healthy people should be fine, only the ones who already have vessels or clot problems

Have you heard of the study from Sweden that shows that the spike proteins synthesised via the vaccine mRNA have been found to drift through the nuclear membrane and can interfere with DNA repair. Could be very serious.

Hi sir...I would like to share some observations regarding the covishield vaccin... covishield vaccine development with some modifications in adenovirus of chimpanzee ..I viewed some information about this virus which cause fever..illness.. bronchitis.. neumonia..and serious illness which cause the death of patients..one of my uncle died of neumonia..65% of his lungs got damaged..he just got vaccinated 3 weeks ago..after 1 week ..he got ill .. ultimately dead...
Few of my neighbours who got vaccinated showed the same symptoms..and hospitalized...and my father and mother also had vaccine doses..they to had to be hospitalized of same symptoms..now they are fine..
But my observation about covishield vaccin roll-out in few states especially Maharashtra is..after vaccination program in Maharashtra..we are seeing more covid patients..so there must be correlation between the more spread of corona virus and covishield vaccination..as it has adenovirus in it..though it's safe as they say..but still need for further enquiry and watch out..and investigation of recent corona patients who are more common factor that is either they got vaccins or they came in proximity of vaccinated people..
I hope this someone take this email seriously..and do something about it..

not at all unexpected and likely that the vaccine in present version may cause more damage than the virus. Vaccines take at least 5 years of testing and that's considered minimum time at break neck research speed and testing.

That was the issue in the first place! People had week immune systems, so got ill. Now people are getting ill with the shot! It makes no difference! Having the shot if anything is weakening your immune system! So when you the virus adapts it will be stronger now because of the vaccine! Making it more dangerous! More people are going to die! We shouldn’t have the vaccine we need to naturally fight off the virus before it gets stronger! Our immune system can wipe it out! But not if we use the virus! Because we weaken our immune system!

My parents have taken this shot (India) and 10 days have passed. No side effects so far
I got the shot couple of weeks back. I didn't get any clots. I am perfectly fine. I have ho for the 2nd shot after 28 days and definitely I'll go for it.

All the countries suspending the particular vaccine are in Europe but what about India where millions of peope have already had the shot or in countries that received the vaccine from India -there is no report of clotting so far from these couties. Seens some batches of the vaccine sent to Europe by the suppply sources had a problem due to some contamination somewhere or about the health of the citizens of these countries due to some drugging... etc An investigation should reveal the problem to the world.
