I don't know if your closed captioning is auto-generated or not. But it's the best I've seen on a video. I also appreciate very much that it says "cricut beeps and buzzes" it made me smile. Still want to pull my hair out trying to cut glitter vinyl though.
I am having issues with glitter vinyl. I was buying the brand Dollar Tree carried and was having no issues, but now they have quit carrying it. The only place available to me was Michaels and they have switched to Make Market brand. I bought that and decided to try it after two successful cut outs for stickers with the DT brand......NOPE, no way. I made 5 passes, some with heavier cuts and it never once cut through the vinyl enough to weed. Tried a new blade too with the same results. It would scratch up the glitter and I had glitter all up in the housing. I fear I will have to buy a new housing now because there is no way to open it up to clean it out. The store refunded my cost but said they had not had any complaints about the product. My question now is what housing do I buy for glitter vinyl to start over? I will order the vinyl you recommend too. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
This vinyl is a little thicker so it's a bit easier to not get bubbles. Here's a video on what to do if you get bubbles ua-cam.com/video/SARVgPq0htg/v-deo.html
Each machine, blade, and batch of vinyl can vary enough to require setting adjustments. Try a test cut (we often use a capital R smaller than a half inch) until you find the setting that weeds well and does not cut into the backing.
The test cut setting we suggest is Vinyl, if your test cut doesn't weed correctly go up to Vinyl+ and do another test cut before cutting your full image.
Love your website and video. What is the best to use on a rock would I be better using a reverse stencil and paint or 651 vinyl. Thanks for all your help.
Lovely project. Looks great. I have problems using the glitter with a white background and my maker. It cuts right through & pops out parts of the image as it’s cutting. I tried using glitter vinyl, cardstock, cardstock for intricate cuts & washi but nothing helped. Is there something that I’m doing wrong? The other glitter with clear sheet is fine.
Hello, Sandi, you may not be doing anything wrong. Depending on the type of vinyl you are using it may be that test cuts are needed to find just the right setting for your machine, blade and vinyl type. If you would like to contact support@expressionsvinyl.com with your order number, we can see what types you have help you find the right cutting settings.
it depends on the brand and if it is adhesive or heat transfer. This glitter adhesive does not need to be mirrored, however, out heat transfer glitter does need to be mirrored.
I don't understand, I can't get mine to cut the glitter vinyl. It cuts right through the paper, I've changed the pressure from 145 to 115, and then to 100, fine point, go over it again is off, and then less pressure and faster mode is off.
The glitter vinyl we carry doesn't have a texture like the Cricut glitter vinyl has. We have found it to transfer well with the medium tack transfer tapes we carry.
Every time I try and use glitter vinyl it never seems to work. I've followed the steps seen in many videos here on UA-cam but it never works! Please tell me what to do!

She did not want the letters to all be cut together, she ungrouped them so that she could cut the I make things in one color vinyl. Then cut the beautiful in a different color of vinyl, if she did not do this they would all be cut as one image on one color.
@@monikatorres7176 She made this video for people that are just starting off with vinyl, so that they can visually see how you would ungroup an image. She said it was easier for her to show and explain this by using a font then with a image.

Such a cute project, and you make it look so easy! I want to try a shadow box now.☺
You make it look so easy ! Thank You!
You can do this!
Great video. I haven't even opened my cricut and I feel like I know how to do this. I'm either going to be cheering or crying very soon, lol!
Opened mine last week. Infusible ink is the easiest thing. I just had to google this one lol

Awesome tutorial 💕💕
How do you not have bubbles when you just flop the transfer tape down like that? You make it look so easy!

I agree. You do make it look really easy. Maybe I could give it a try. It looks really cute. I need to find some of those little wooden boxes.
Well I just read in your description box you carry those boxes so going to check it out now 😍

What cricut setting material would I use for the magenta vinyl. I’m having trouble cutting mine😢

When using glitter vinyl what setting for the blade do you suggest on your Cricut Explore Air 2?
The test cut setting we suggest is Vinyl, if your test cut doesn't weed correctly go up to Vinyl+ and do another test cut before cutting your full image.
Love your videos. Can you make one with faux leather earrings similar to what you have on now? I keep having trouble with them.
Unfortunately we do not have a video cutting faux leather, I will make a request for you.

Depends on how smooth the surface, but I would say using a stencil and painting would probably hold up better on that surface
You taught me something new
was that shinny side down or up
What glitter vinyl did you use? Love the project!
We used the glitter adhesive vinyl from our site. expressionsvinyl.com/permanent-adhesive-vinyl/glitter/
In the video you said this was removable but the link says permanent vinyl.... could this be removed after a year without issues?

hi! im just wondering what kind of white vinyl you’re using?
Oracal 631 white. It is a removeable vinyl.
I am brand new, most videos I see say that glitter must be mirrored before cutting?

Hi what is the fonts for this please
This was a cricut cut file
Can you use this on shoes
You can, but it won't stay very long. If you have shoes with a fabric material that can withstand the heat I'd suggest using heat transfer vinyl
@3:14 anddd
Not understanding why you ungeouped it? Seems like that was an unnecessary step since the design was 2 colors already?
She did not want the letters to all be cut together, she ungrouped them so that she could cut the I make things in one color vinyl. Then cut the beautiful in a different color of vinyl, if she did not do this they would all be cut as one image on one color.
It was already 2 colors, so the Cricut would separate them automatically. Not necessary to ungroup.
