03-14 Subaru WRX STI Battery Upgrade | XS Power Batteries

The 2003-2014 Subaru WRX/ WRX STI have a factory battery size of group 35. While we don't offer the direct Group 35 size, our 1200-Series batteries are close enough to drop right in without any extensive modification. Our website reflects a "Fitment Level 2," which means a small modification is required. After installing our PWR-S5-1200 in this STi, we can report that the only modification needed was a possible washer on top of one of the factory hold down, and it's secure! In our video, we didn't even need it, but for ease of use, you may want to grab one just to be safe!
Our 1200-Series offerings include our AGM D1200, S1200, and our Titan8 PWR-S5-1200. David optioned to save some weight and gain some cranking power with our PWR-S5-1200!

I have an xs power D3400r would a titan 8 be an upgrade? singer 280amp alternator charging at 14.4 volts

Absolutely! Any of our Direct-Fit model Titan8 products can go under the hood. The only ones that will not work under the hood are our modular versions.
