Want a tutorial on how I made this? Let me know below! It's similar to how I made my own USB-C cables! Check it here - ua-cam.com/video/04DT3YQDep4/v-deo.html
Apple : we dont include new Cabbles on new iphone pckage because we want to save "Environment" also apple : lets makes all apples port hard to open and make it almost impossible to DIY the abbles so they can throw and buy a new one
I don't like messing with the housing, so what I do, is cut the cable 3 inches from one end ( or more, less ) strip the wires and just solder them to a gx12 connector or something similar. And sleeve the original cable
@@goodjihad yeah.. I haven't seen anybody make a video of this. It's easy, buy a decent cable with the specs you want that works with your brick and device (3A or 5A charging, Qualcomm 3.0 fast charging, one plus warp ect), make sure the data transfer speed is 480mbps ( ensures 4 pins, if you get 3.1 you'll need 6 or 8 pin gx12/16) and that's it. Custom cable with an aviator to boot
Nice video! I'd like to modify my Apple brand lightning to USB-C cable, to make it into a charge-only cable. No data transfer. Can you tell me which color wire or wires to snip?
Typically green and white - the data lines. This might impact the charging speed however. I am not sure so this needs to be researched more on your part.
My name is Joe Gaz and I want to get people CONNECTED to their technology in the most human way possible. I was curious if I could make my own iPhone cable. I have made others in the past and I knew that these fake connectors from all these wholesalers are fake. You are buying these fake cables daily not knowing that you are being robbed of your money and the company knowing full well that it will die within a week or a month. Let's do something about it and share it to all Apple users! I am not affiliated with Apple in anyway. I simply get connected to people using technology in the most human way possible. I wanted to make an iPhone cable which is sexy, quality and beautiful. This video demonstrates that! I hope you (and Apple) are inspired by this video and you create colored cables like this to match your iPhones or Apple devices. So, I ask you to please share this video! I think it's important that people do not get ripped off.
How hard would it be to make an apple to aviator cable? I want to be able to switch from usb c to apple. This would be for a household that has Android auto and apple carplay
Does the USB end have to be MFI or can you throw *any* usb plug? (Thinking of mixing this up with an aviator so you can switch the other end for multiple charging options!)
Even the Apple cables aren't safe from having some sort of microchip communication thing in them as well as their phone components for repair? This is a new one for me to see only now. What happens when your lightning cable don't even have one embedded inside of the connector?

I’ve seen coiled cables for mechanical keyboards where the color is split halfway through the coil so can you make a tutorial on how to do that?
I just cover a inch of the cable at connector with hot glue or other strong flexible glue or silicone and cable lasts for years .
*Laughs in USB C*
Cant seem to find the 2.0 version type c where im at, can you show me how to build a keyboard cable usi g the 3.1 version type c. Thanka much
How did you get the glue off of the original soldered wires?
Sir ? What did the first layer you put on the connector? Is that all heat shrink?
*laughs in Android*

Any usb plug! All the magic happens in the mfi lightning connector.

This is a new one for me to see only now.
What happens when your lightning cable don't even have one embedded inside of the connector?
After 2 weeks the device blacklists it and says it's not compatible.
Ima do this but my cable isn’t broke but I wanna give it more support
Love the intro! Hahahaha
Thanks Justin! I really loved making this video. I honestly really enjoyed it!
What’s the plastic cover piece you put over the lightning connector?
It's called heatshrink :) or if you mean the fake casing it's from a lightning connector kit from aliexpress
You Arab? I heard that yallah. Great video man.
