Yondu and Killmonger are savage. I can't even begin to count how many forfeits I've seen due to a discarded "primary" card their deck was built around or 9-power Sunspot get stuck by a dagger
I've only been playing a few days now but have tried a bunch if beginner decks but with only mild success where I'd win a few and then fall back to where I was in the rankings. However after watching your vid and trying the Chad's at the zoo deck I have to say it's bith pretty easy to use and also effective. I've also found other players tend to snap more often even when I know I've locked down one location already and can easily take either of the others. I think its seeing all the low cost, low rarity cards that players assume they'll overpower my deck only to have me sweep the board on the last turn. Ill definitely keep watching your content and great work.
I started playing about a week ago and tried a few different decks now, but this is by far my favorite! Currently I'm on a (I think) 8-Win Streak. I'm also in Pool 2 now and already pulled Killmonger, now I'm a bit worried I might run into him sooner than later lol
Just started 3 days ago and already hit gold with this! I'm already in pool 2 but played only these pool 1 cards and got there pretty easily. Angel had a small nerf since this was uploaded too. Once I realized you sometimes want to not play anything turn 1 and should plan around whether you can play strong guy it was ezgg
I have a deck similar to this. As I moved up I threw mantis and cable in it, to swipe some more powerful cards if needed. And then moon girl who doubles your hand. Great when your card is all 1 cost with some fun abilities you can spam.
Maybe Wasp? Great card as there's rarely a rush to play it. Can have 3 targets on turn 3 for Ironheart, 0 for 2 with Blue Marvel and dump hand for Strong Guy. A miss with Kazar, but worth it I think to secure Strong Guy plays.
Hey, I made this deck on my 2nd day playing this game, played maybe 2 hours the first day. It is very fun and I have probably over 90% win ratio with it and it is the 5th deck i ever made and I think more people should check it out. Quicksilver, Cable, Scarlet Witch, Sentinel, Morph, Mr. Fantastic, Punisher, Jessica Jones, White Queen, Devil Dinosaur, Nick Fury, American Chavez. Mr. Fantastic, Punisher and Jessica Jones are just filler cards and can be switched out they are just the cards I had 2 hours into playing the game. It is nice always knowing what your 1st and last card drawn will be, unless game goes to 7. Scarlet Witch and Morph make for some fun randomness. all the others keep Devil Dinosaur buff high. and having devil dino, american Chaves or 3 other 6 energy cards to play round 6 is very nice.
Interesting, I really want to try this deck. I'm in pool 1 approx level 17 and I've been running an Ongoing deck with Spectrum that's been very effective, but this deck looks interesting. I need Korg, though. I want Korg. "Hey man, we're just dropping some rahks."
Last round zoo was the best deck for pool 2 and sometimes even 3, i was consistently hitting infinity for a couple seasons before eventually getting tired of it and upgrading my cards to expand to pool 3. Basically you only play sunspot to bait out killmonger, then its bishop, kazar, blue marvel, and only when its turn six, you play a bunch of one-cost cards all at once. Was super effective with like a 90% winrate no joke.
if you're running strong guy considef using blade as well he comes in clutch on turn 6 for a blue marvel + blade combo to destroy a last card in your hand
I ended up replacing squirrel girl and ironheart for scorpion and sunspot due to how annoying it can get drawing ironheart on the last turn on the other hand squirrel girl just feels weak
great vid, it's useful to have a first pool reference! clean delivery, much appreciated. also a lotta players call the cards 'drops,' as in 1-drops, 3drops, etc, instead of saying 1costs--just a little easier for some players to say. happy holidays
You now can use a new better pool 1 archetype called SIGMA . You need these cards to have pool 1 sigma. Korg,Starlord,Iron man,Nightcrawler and Cap. America are great for beginners. Wolfsbane,Sinister and Namor are great for winning locations. Only use Cards like Swordmaster,Carnage,Blue Marvel and Hulk at your own risk
I'll be honest, I never see squirrel girl do all that much good. In my experience, having cards get stronger more often than not doesn't make up for 1/1's in 3 spots
Hey Mr. Snap! I see the pinned comment and thank you for that. Im curious, I feel like I've always misunderstood the art and sport of strategy or anything competitive so what is your tip for the beginner of beginners to something of that nature. Study the cards and decks that are already working for people and then with enough time practice and knowledge you have an almost muscle memory of the game THEN you can see the holes in it your way and create your own deck. I can't tell you how many times I feel like I've strategically built an epic deck only to get knocked out sooooo fast and it continuously takes me out of the game..I don't want to be that person anymore. I want to be a winner.
I am super happy with this deck! I dropped Angela for Cosmo (to protect the Chads), and all the rest are 1 cost cards. What's a day at the beach without a dog, right?
I know this is a year old but I noticed strong was turn 4 with 10 power back then but now he is turn 3 with 9 power... best case scenario My question, Would JessicaJones be better more reliable option? Turn 4 guaranteed 9 power if a little puppy doesn't distract her😂
On turn 6 of game 2, shouldn't you have moved nightcrawler to the nexus and played blue marvel in his place? You would've gotten more power all around that way.
I keep staying with one card at the later turns pretty much all the time. I also tend to skip first step a lot to see what the second location is. I assume it's best to spread cards more with this deck?
I know opp retreated, but on the last move, would it have made sense to move nightcrawler to the right and play blue marvel on the left? Put the biggest power on the right?
How long do you need to play and upgrade to get all these cards, cause ive been playing off and on for a couple weeks and have maybe half of them, but you say we should have all :P
It’s not based on rank 43. It’s because your collection level is 248 which falls in pool 2 so your opponent also have same pool cards. I am at rank level 46, but at collection level 164 and I didn’t faced pool 2 yet.

I have had this happen to me and it hurts lol.
The other two spots in the deck can be used for your liking! Blade works great to set up Strong Guy much more consistently!

Hahaha, Killmonger can absolute hurt the deck, but luckily most of the time opponents will play him right at turn 3, allowing you to build back up.

Gotta go with Sunspot as well. Especially in a slow-developing deck, he can very easily hold a location pretty solidly

This deck is so fun. Albeit pulling off Strong Guy's ability is pretty hard for me. On turn 4 I always put Kazaar

I love this deck but please do watch out for snaps when you have the advantage, that would mean they have a killmonger up their sleeve.

I'm at 104 collection power and I still don't have Squirrel Girl, Korg, and missing 6 out of the 7 optional ones. I want Squirrel Girl so bad.
She will come soon enough :D replace her with another one cost!

How does the Angela nerf effect this deck and Pool 1 in general? Nearly every Pool 1 Guide on youtube is Pre-Nerf and the meta is just different now.
DR never kills MM or Vulture when I'm playing my Phoenix Force Deck. Also Killmonger is the bane of this deck but definitely not bad though.
