Hi Les, glad you found it of interest, don't forget to take a look at some of the other lorry-related videos now on the channel, see ua-cam.com/users/oldclassiccarRJvideos
i have not seen a bull nose ERF for yrs and you have a photo ,but the ones wat Atkinson builders yard had half cab ones and eight wheeler ones aswell i wish i had fotod them yrs back when i was a kid cas i used to get brochures from truck makers ,i got adresses outta observers books and still have a cool scammell brochure from the seventies.
Great photos and very nostalgic I loved them all I have even driven some of those Army vehicles so for me it was so good to see. It's a shame there aren't so many in the south but I guess there wasn't quite so many hauliers down here. Keep up the good work. Amazing
Hope this was of interest. Nothing can replace visiting real shows, but until they're back in action, hopefully this vid will remind everyone of the great vehicles that are out there in preservation. Please add a comment if you recognise your lorry in this video, or have one like it. Equally, if you have any ideas for future videos like this, please let me know. To catch future upload news, simply click like, subscribe, and the notifications bell. A second collection has also been uploaded now: ua-cam.com/video/bovbN2mcY0k/v-deo.html Thanks, RJ :-)
allinson builders yard not atkinson had them ERF they looked like deisel train for thecroad that bonnet did no photos any were of theres they had loads eight wheelers and half cab ones .
Fair comment, it's a balance between lingering on each photo sufficiently, yet not making the video tooooo long so as people just up and leave before the end. It should be possible to pause the vid whenever something really interesting pops up, but I take your feedback on board for future vids like this, thanks.
These old trucks had so much personality. Feel honoured to be able to remember seeing many of them on the road in days gone by.
Nothing like looking at classic lorries/trucks, many thanks for sharing

always wanted an Atkinson badge for my leather jacket .
Fascinating, but a little more time to absorb the details of each picture would be even better.

Try turning the video speed down to .25 gives more time to look at the vehicle
What lorry did you use for the soundtrack? It sounded awesome!
Hi, it was just some stock audio in the UA-cam library, so presumably something (whisper it) American .... :)
