I lost my way with it but im back on the thing now.
The roof vent went well enough I think, but had to cut it short as I forgot to turn the mikes on.

Your supposed to lift the metal clips on frame for the holes to line up properly on the maxifan, father in law done the same thing we couldn't work out why the holes didn't line up 😂!

If you remove the jigsaw metal plate it will stop marking surrounding surfaces,you will still have control over jigsaw
Would you suggest notching the wooden frame for the wire to sit before doing this?
No mate, it will sit at the side of it and when you put the bottom cowl on it is fine
may of looked better if you used white plastic screw covers , instead of silicone just a thought but i could be wrong lol
You use silicone over the screw heads to eliminate the small chance of water working its way down the threads.

Would it not be cheaper and easier to just travel about in the van and camp in a tent or use hotels?😀
