  • In this video we'll combine slapping using the thumb only with hammer-ons. Hammer-ons are using the left hand only to create a note by pushing a fretting finger down with enough force for the note to ring out without being plucked/slapped. This combination allows us to play fast combinations of notes once we develop the proper coordination.

There isn't a link above for the hammer on video.
It would help to also add links in the description too.

Good call on the description. It turns out I haven't made one for the hammer ons specifically yet, so I'll be adding that soon. I'll have to add those links soon as well. Thanks for watching!

    Hello!
How do you record and process U•BASS?

I'm recording directly through a Focusrite Scarlett Solo interface into the computer program Audacity. I occasionally add compression, reverb, or do some light EQ in Audacity, but most of the time I keep it how it recorded without editing the sound/tone. Thanks for watching and great question!

Also, I usually have the volume halfway up or a bit less on the U-Bass as well as the interface, and about 80-85 on Audacity's recording volume control.
