Many people just produce fluff when it comes to researching KWs and KDP books so you never really get a good grasp of the process. You have produced an informative video one that I can at least relate to without coming away feeling I'd not got anything out of it. Well done! I see lots of comments about low content books being saturated on KDP, so just curious about your experience with Book Bolt and KDP. Thanks.
Hey J, it is a fact that making money with low content is getting more challenging, but it's still possible. You need to treat it like a business: create time each week for it (at the beginning I would say around 10 to 20 hours a week), invest in some courses (don't go for the expensive ones, look for low content-oriented courses and free content on youtube), and make sure you publish high quality books. Of course you need patience and consistency, as in any other business. You can create 100 books that won't make a sale, and then publish one single book that will start to sell, collect ratings and give you the first royalties. That's the best feeling ever, the first time you make a sale. In my point of view, it is worth pursuing seriously and diligently. If, on the contrary, you are looking for some easy and fast way to make money online, then this isn't one of them.
Hello, I just recently created a few low-content books to publish on Amazon KDP and I’m running into the problem of if I should put my name as the author for a journal or notebook. I used Book Bolt for the design and template using clip art.
Please I have a question. A book that is printed at 4,99 and they said the minimum price for the book should be 10,56. I put the Price at 10,99. What do I actually get? If the royalty in some places is 40 and some none. What would be the gain in both areas?
Hey, you can see the royalty (what you get per copy sold) just right next to the price. You can see the printing cost, the price you set and the royalty you are left with.
You mentioned being able to see the keywords that the author used on the book. Did you just mean the keywords that are in the title? Because I have wondered how I can see the competitors keywords. And to clarify even further I guess you don’t mean the keywords that are in the seven slots? If you could explain this I would be so grateful! Anyway, thanks so much for the great video. Here’s what Bookbolt allows you to do, concerning kws used by tre completion (and btw, this is the official answer Bookbolt gave me, after having contacted them with your question): --- Bookbolt textual answer --- Bookbolt has a tool that allows people to see what they are ranking for (book scout), but the keywords that the competition is using in the backend keywords are not visible to anyone (since the seller loads them up and amazon doesn't show them). Bookbolt also have a keyword tool that allows people to see the Amazon search volume. --- End of Bookbolt answer --- [my comment] So basically, you cannot see the “seven slots” kws, but you can reverse engineer them, by looking at specific kws with bookscout, and seeing if your competition is ranking for those kws. You can also know the search volume for specific kws, but this function is not strictly related to what you were asking. Hope this explanation was clear enough.

book bolt has a variety of tutorial on its own platform for every feature available. There's even a youtube channel.

Hello Yalonda, you can put your own name, but usually self publishers come up with fictional names according to the niche they are publishing in.
